As I left latifah's place, I headed to my mum's boutique and I met her with her sales girls, Aminah and Hassanah closing the door. I parked the car and I went to meet them.
Salam alaikum ummi, I greeted hugging her
Walaikum salam habibti, she replied patting my back
Salam alaikum, I greeted Aminah and Hassanah
Walaikum salam, they greeted in unison with a smile on their faces
Are you done? I asked ummi
Yes, she said
Where are you girls going to? I asked
Their places isn't far from ours, said mum
Ok, let's go, I said
We all hopped in to the car and I zoomed off. After thirty minutes of driving, we finally arrived at Aminah and Hassanah's street and mum and I headed home.
I have a good news for you, said mum
Tell me, I said curiously
No, till we get home, she said
Ok, I said and I continue driving
How's latifah? Hope she's well when you girls visited her, asked mum
Yes, she didn't even want us to leave her alone, I said

After a long drive, we finally reach home. Mum opened the house door and I went to park the car in the garage and I headed inside for dinner. I entered the house and I met mum preparing food for dinner.
What's for dinner? I asked
Hummus and chicken, she replied
Ok, I'll be back. Need to shower, I said heading upstairs
After thirty minutes of changing. I went downstairs to help mum with the dinner and to hear the good news she wanted to tell me.
Mum, what do you wanna tell me? I asked pouting
Why are you so curious? She asked
Curious to hear the god news, I said
Ok, the good news is that your dad has booked a flight for us to come over to Thailand to spend four weeks with him, she said
Alhamdullilah, Masha Allah, I said jumping round the kitchen
Be careful and don't fall, warned mum
When are we leaving? I asked happily
In two days time, replied mum
That's Tuesday, Yippie, I jumped joyously
After the dinner, I lay on my bed thinking how life in Thailand is gonna be. I tried calling my dad but his number isn't reachable, maybe he's busy, I said to myself. I keep thinking about how the trip is gonna be till I drifted to sleep.
