Then Jennifer's phone rings and she looks at the caller I.D and she looks surprised and she says
"H-hang on you guys it's my uh my mom..." she says in a nervous tone
she walks away to the hall I look over at Jennifer and she answers her phone and she quickly walks towards the corner before the other girls saw I quickly get up and walk quietly behind her and I easedrop on her conversation
"Yeah did you get it.?.......You're heading over there right now.?.....Okay no we're still here don't worry about Hailey she deserved it.....Yeah the girls are talking to both of them right now...she's fine I told her how you felt and she...she understood.....Wait you want us to come over.?....Yeah we can do that she'll love it....Okay take care of yourself okay we love you bye."
She was talking to Alex! I ran back to my previous spot and when Jennifer came back we all looked at her I was the first to break the silence
"Jennifer.?" I said
"Yeah what's up Demi.?
"Did Alex call you just now.?"
her eyes get wide and she looks at me like if I was on fire or something
"Um no why would you say that.?"
"Because you glanced at your phone and hid over by the coroner before you could even answer our question do you know where Alex is going.?" I said
She nods her head and she says
"No I don't..."
"Jen just tell us where's Alex.?!?" said Jolene
she sighs and says
"Demi all I'm gonna tell you is just go home....she'll be there."
I hug her and I whisper in her ear
"Thank you."
and I run out of the school and ask Wilmer for a ride back home.
Alex's POV
I finally got Jeremy his bed and everything he needs now it was time to meet him I drive to his foster home and I walk up to the door and I see a nun there and she says
"Hello there you must be the young lady that adopted Jeremy nice to meet you my name is Ms Jefferson Jeremy is inside his room you can see him if you'd like."
"Thank you." I said
I walk into a light blue colored room and I see him playing with his toys he looks at me and he crawls towards me and I pick him up and I look at him and tears came into my eyes
"Wow he looks a lot like Demi." I said to myself
"He must like you he never goes with anyone like he just did right now he loves you already."
