O Travellers

O' travelers who seek the peak

Forget not to enjoy the sides

The sides are where the flora grows,

Where life looks down to the valley

And the hiking legs scale and slip

On the way to the peak so high

That clouds float beneath the shoe soles

Or so low- where bartered are souls

They're like the stepping stones to goal,

The failures on the way to success,

Can a ladder work without the

Rungs except for the final one,

Life is about the path taken

More than the destination reached

O' travelers who seek the peak

Forget not to enjoy the sides...
