Your POV:

"Dannyyyyy..." I whined as I sat on my bed, waiting for my husband to turn the lights off. "Can you sing me a song?" I asked while he sat himself on the bed too; of course he knew 'no' was not an answer.

"Like a lullaby?" He questionned.

"Anything." I answered, placing my head on his chest. He wrapped his arms around me gently and trailed his fingers up and down on my arm. I closed my eyes as he began to sing softly.

In an old apartment

Down in the garden

I was born on a sunny day

When the riots ruled the streets like a Sunday parade

I smiled, of course he would pick this song. I didn't mind though, it suited his voice perfectly...

Everyone is cruising

Gang signs were moving

You know how we're doing

White lines abusing

On the boulevard, we never go too far

Nothing really matters when you're walking on stars

Last call at the Rainbow Bar

Mistress Los Angeles stole my heart

He kissed my hair and his hand moved from my arm to my head to play with my (Y/H/C) locks.

You can sell yourself if you've got no soul

Nowadays auditions to the devil are sold

From the boardwalk, I see the ghost on the beach

Memories of my city keep haunting me

He took a deep breath and I sang with him as I laid on his lap.

Where's LA?

Where's LA?

Where's LA?

Whatever happened to the city we knew?

Where's LA?

Where's LA?

Where's LA?

Whatever happened to the city we knew?

"Why are you so perfect..." I pondered, although, Daniel's silence told me otherwise, "Did I just say that outloud?" He laughed and leaned down to kiss me on the lips. My face got red, luckily, I could be the only one aware of that as the room was in darkness... Or so I thought.

"I know you're blushing." He grazed his fingertips on my cheeks, feeling the heat that emanated from them. I took his hand and kissed his knuckles, playing with his wedding ring.

"Hush. Sing." I demanded.

"Yes m'am."

No range of sunshine

All the broken tail-lights

Earthquakes on silver lakes

False dreams, yeah, I can hear the heartbreak

Malibu, we cruising

The cops come, we lose 'em

You know how we do it
