An Old Face

Aiden's pov

I drive to the compound and park outside

"You happy to be back?" I ask

"Yeah a bit I've actually kind of missed everyone" Jess replies

"I didn't because I had the best company" I reply smirking and kiss Jess I hear wolf whistling we both turn around and see Kol with a massive smirk on his face

"Well the happy couple's back how was your retreat?" He asks

"It was... Nice" Jess replies

"I bet it was" Kol says continuing to smirk

"Where is everyone?" I ask

"They're inside oh and Kara and Klaus are 'dating'" he says

"That doesn't seem like Nik he's more of a no strings attached kind of guy" I say smirking

"Well whatever it is they're like horny rabbits" Kol jokes

"You guys are so disgusting" Jess says then pulls a face

"Darling get used to it" Kol says

"Well I think its time we said hello" I say and we go inside the compound

"Guys they're back!" Kol shouts and everyone comes into the garden

"Hi Jess I've missed you so much" Kara says giving her an hug

"Same I've missed having some girl company" Jess jokes

"Was my amazing company not enough" I say fake shocked Jess just smiles sweetly at me and I start laughing

"So what's this I hear about Kara and Klaus" I say smirking

"You don't want to know" Kol replies jokingly we all laugh and head to the sitting room.

"Has Marcel shown his ugly face lately?" I ask

"Nope it's just like he fell off the face of the earth" Klaus says narrowing his eyes at the thought of him

"He's scared he's hiding away because he knows if he does show himself, his head will be on a stick" Kara says smirking

"Or he's planning something and we just don't know it" Elijah says. We hear a knock at the door and no-one moves

"I guess I'll get it then you bunch of lazy assholes" I say sarcastically, I go towards the door and widen my eyes when I see who it is

"Hello old pal" he says

"Kai Parker" I say astonished

"The one and only" he says weakly

"What are you doing here?" I ask

"Well if you couldn't tell by the sound of my voice and the massive chunk that's been taken out of my neck my I'm dying" He says sarcastically

"What did that to you?" I ask trying to stifle my laughter

"Well what's big, hairy and has sharp teeth that could kill you?" he questions

"A werewolf did that" I answer

"How?" I ask he takes a deep breath

"So I had just cloaked myself after getting out of yet another prison world thanks to my good friend Bonnie" he starts I sigh forgetting he has to tell a story instead of keeping it short and sweet

"And I was at Jo's wedding I was gonna wait until the death do us part bit but I thought it would be too cheesy you know so she just started her vows and I started stabbing her in the back, literally and then I finally revealed myself and it was awesome then I killed myself to transition into a heretic and also killing the Gemini coven but Tyler ,the wolf, must have killed Liv because he attacked me and bit my neck then I went to Damon to get help but he told me to come here so here I am" He finishes I widen my eyes at how he can talk so much even though he's on the verge of dying
