Aiden's pov
"Wakey wakey sleepy head" I whisper in Jess's ear and she jerks awake, I start laughing and she slaps my arm
"Not funny" she says glaring at me
"Ayy lighten up it's our last day in paradise we're going home tomorrow" I reply
"What are we doing today anyway?" Jess asks
"Well that's your choice sweetheart" I explain
"We could go to a museum" She suggests I shake my head
"Anything but that, darling I am over 900 years old I could tell you anything"I say
"Yes you are historic they might try and make you an attraction" Jess jokes
"Cheeky if you weren't so beautiful I'd kill you" I jokingly say then kiss her cheek. I pour us two glasses of blood and we drink them Jess goes for a shower,
"Want me to join you" I say flirtatiously
"Maybe another time" Jess replies smirking
"You've definitely picked up some of my traits lately" I say smirking
"I'm not sure that's good" Jess jokes then heads to the bathroom
I put my jacket on and wait for Jessica to get ready so we can set off. She smiles as we leave the hotel and get in my car.
"You figured out what you want to do?" I ask
"We could go sightseeing" She suggests, I nod
"Ok then but I do have a surprise in store for you" I say
"Ooh I love surprises, what is it?" Jess asks
"You really don't get the purpose of a surprise do you sweetheart" I tease
"Stop teasing me or I'll kick your ass" Jess replies
"I'd love to see you try" I hit back and get a bottle of water and pour it on her and she squeals
"You dick, I'm soaking wet now!" Jess shrieks
It's fine you'll dry, you need to be more careful" I joke and Jess playfully glares, then gets the water bottle and pours it on me I gasp.
"I'm driving, we could've been killed" I say
"How we're vampires we can't die" Jess deadpans
"Actually we can if someone puts a stake through our heart or rips it out remember" I say smirking
"Shut up you smart arse" Jess says I smirk even wider. We arrive
at the destination. I get a basket out of the boot and speed off and set everything up
"Aiden where are you? Not a very good host or boyfriend are you" I hear Jess call, I chuckle to myself and speed back up behind her
"Look behind you" I whisper in her ear she screams and jumps round, I laugh at her fear
"Where did you go?" She asks
"I just had to do some preparations" I explain
"You're so secretive soon I'll find out you've had a million girlfriends and have three children to each of them" Jess jokes
"Gosh I'm not that bad only two to each" I joke back we both start laughing and start to walk through the woods when I hear faint footsteps and men's voices
"Don't get worried but we're being followed" I whisper to Jessica and she nods
"What do we do?" She asks quietly
