Three weeks later
Aiden's pov
I wake up and rub my eyes, the last couple of weeks have been very strange has it all been a dream. I shake my head and go to my wardrobe and get out a shirt and jeans and lay them on my bed and go for a shower. After about an hour I get out and get dressed and go downstairs to the sitting room. I watch t.v for a bit and pour myself a drink when someone takes it .
"Thank you" the voice says
"Of course Kara have my drink" I say sarcasm dripping from my voice
"Oh I will" she says smirking whilst taking a sip of it
"Why did I agree to let you come back with me" I say
"Because you cant live without me" she replies. I pour myself another drink and drink it before anyone else steals it and get up to look for everyone else.
Klaus's pov
"So your saying we should throw a party?" I ask Elijah with raised eyebrows
"Not a party, a ball it can be a way for everyone to settle their disputes" he replies
"Or it could be a total disaster and most likely turn into a bloodbath" Kol says
"Well its worth a shot" I say
"What are we on about here?" Aiden says coming into the room
"You need a partner for the masquerade ball tonight" I order
"Yes sir" Aiden replies saluting I glare at him
"Did someone say there's going to be a party" I hear the girl Kara say
"Yes there is but who said you were invited" I reply smirking at her
"Well if you want this party to actually be good then you're going to need me I ooze sophistication" she replies returning the smirk
"Nik let her come she won't stop pestering us until we say yes" Aiden says smiling at her
"Fine, anyway who are you going going to ask" I ask Aiden
"I'll probably ask Jess" Aiden says walking out
Aiden's pov
I walk through the compound and decide to go out for a walk I grab my jacket and head for the door where I get greeted by Kara
"Who's Jess?" She asks
"Jessica is someone you don't know" I say smirking
"Is she a play thing for your amusement" she says I playfully roll my eyes and chuckle
"No she's just a friend" I reply
"That's what everyone says" she says laughing
"Can I please go" I say laughing, she moves out the way and I leave the compound. I walk around New Orleans and listen to the buskers.
Jess's pov
I walk around New Orleans when I feel someone grab me and pull me down an alleyway I wince at how strong he is holding me. I scream. They start to feed on my neck that's when I knew it was a vampire. I feel like I am going to die when it abruptly stops and the vampire drops to the ground, I see a face I couldn't be happier to see.
"Well that's one more thing I've learnt about you,you're very kinky" Aiden says smirking I slap his arm
"Don't be a dick" I say trying to smile but wince because of the pain in my neck. He suddenly bites his wrist and holds it out to me, I raise an eyebrow
