SHADES OF NATURE

The wind whispers in my ear
I have a tale to offer, so hear
All the secrets you shall now bear
Behold as this curtain shall slowly tear.

The trees rustle their leaves, captivating me
Through them shines the orange light brightly
All those leaves are green yet a shade different
Makes me wonder how many colours did God actually create.

The birds fly above flapping their wings majestically
And this they do rightfully for they did their day's duty
Freedom they own, sky is their limit
Circling the sky, they slowly make their retreat.

The sky turns a darker shade of blue
Blackness spreads welcoming the moon's silver hue
Look around and you'll find the last of the light fading
Inspired by this beauty ~ With the colours of poetry, I start my own shading.

Quote : Only the spirit of nature can satisfy the heart of a poet.

Inspiration : Watching the sunset from my home.
