FAKE TRUTH

Sometimes I wonder if your life is as simple as your pictures show

Whether your smile is genuine or is it merely a fake glow

When you say you're fine - the meaning of it do you still know

Or is it just a camouflage to hide your sorrow?

A normal expression you put on your face for the world to see

Tell me - from grief, anxiety, tension are you really free

Or are you spending each moment of your life in constant sadness as if to live this is your fee

I can't bear this forced fake happiness- your true self reveal it to me.

You say everything's good

Tell me then why isn't it reflected in your mood

Your eyes want to scream the truth

Yet you hide them with your hood.

Is it because the world won't let you express the truth

Wherein hiding your sorrow is an eternal unwritten rule

Happiness and sadness are an equal part of your life

Then why do you wanna go all alone through this strife?

Do not fake happiness, don't you dare fake the truth

The world accepts you even if you're in the blue

For everyone has his share of bad times

It's just a little more you gotta go before everything becomes right.

Please speak the truth

On me don't play this trick so cruel

Your sadness doesn't make you weak

It just reminds you happiness is always within reach.

Quote : Outside she was an epitome of calmness but on the inside she was an erupting volcano, a raging storm, an earthquake of such intensity that a mere wave would send shocks through the entire world.
