He Cant Be Back

Marias POV

I swing the dorm door open with a loud whoosh, running inside to my room and slamming my door shut, tears rolling down my cheeks as I flop on my bed and burry my face in a large, cold pillow. He can't be back, he can't be back, be cant be back. I repeat in my head, over and over again.

"Not again!" I scream to myself, my voice shaking heavily. This cant be happening!

I sobbed into my pillow untill I heard a voice call,

"Hello..? M-Maria?"

I flinched, quickly quieting myself. I could make out the voice through my light sniffles as I tried to calm myself. It was Eliza. I didnt reply to her. I heard the door click shut outside. There was a brief silence before I heard a quiet knock on my door.

"Maria..? A-are you in there?" She asked softly.

"No." I replied, my voice muffled by the pillow.

"Are you ok?" She replied, her voice dropped down to a more serious, rather then confused tone.

"No." I said again, this time slightly quieter.

"M-may I c-come in?" she asked quietly, her voice becoming slightly timid.

I waited a few seconds before speaking, "C-can we talk l-lat-ter..?" I stuttered nervously, quiet tears ran down my cheeks as I sniffed lightly and sat up a bit. I wasn't going to let her see me like this if my life depended on it.

"Yeah, totally.." She said quietly. Seconds later, I heard light footsteps walk away from my door.

I sat up straight in my bed, cross legged as tears poured down my face. I looked into my mirror, noticing black streams of makeup running from my eyes. My pillow was now covered in maskara and bright red lipstick smudges. I sighed and looked around for someone, debating on walking out and talking to Eliza. No..shes not gonna wanna talk to you Maria, you just shut her out after she offered to help! Stupid. Stupid. Stupid!

I shoved my head back in my pillow again and let it soak up my tears and makeup.

How could James be back?! How did he find me!

I sighed shakily, wondering what in Hell I was going to do now.
