"Run away lady Carmina! We will hold them up so take your chance and run away" the head guard commanded me

"No! Mom and Dad is already dead I won't just run away and leave this house and everyone of you to perish in my stead!" I screamed as tears fell down on my face but I still kept my brave front, I witnessed them killed my Parents I managed to let my little brother go I know he can call for help eventhough I know it will be already late if help arrived. . .

Right now I am the only pillar left of this household, if all go down I will as well!

The face of my mate flashes in my mind, my dear mate, My Oliver. . .

I know that he will be devastated but I need to fight for my family for our honor if that's the last thing I could do, cause if not then I will only live with guilt eating me whole

"Lady Carmina! I beg you please just run away!" My female attendant begged, I knew she is also suffering knowing she will never see the faces of her family in the south after this night is over but we all had no choice we are outnumbered
