Brelyn sat at the meeting table. Not too long ago, she was excited to sit in on this one, but now, she was feeling anxious and couldn't seem to sit still. She was starting to get nervous. She fidgeted with her fingers as they sat in her lap. She looked down as she waited for the meeting to start. Every so often, she would look around at the other royals and heroes filling in. Princess Audrey, daughter of Sleeping Beauty, and Prince Chad Charming, son of Cinderella, came in. They gave Brelyn a nod as their daughter, Aria, was good friends with her.

Other people she knew that filed in were Melody, daughter of Ariel and Eric, and Aziz, son of Aladdin and Jasmine. She then noticed some of the older and more well-known royals and heroes. The first ones she noticed were her grandparents: Beast and Belle. Beast patted her shoulder while Belle bent down to kiss her on the cheek. "You nervous?" she asked.

"Um, a little," Brelyn admitted. She didn't dare to lie to her grandmother in the slightest. Belle and Brelyn became very close over the last two years. Belle just adored her granddaughter. Besides Ben and Mal, Belle was probably the happiest when she and the other three girls were brought to Auradon from the orphanage. She just wanted to spoil the young girl and show her all the love she had to give.

"Don't worry," Belle said. "You're just sitting in. It's not like anything you say now is going to affect the future."

"But these royals are expecting me to be ready to be queen. I honestly don't think I am ready."

"Aw," another voice said. "Is the little princess nervous?"

"Yep, Godmother, she is," Belle replied.

Fairy Godmother bent down so she and Brelyn were face to face. "Personally, I think you'll make a fine queen."

"You really think so?" Brelyn asked looking at both Fairy Godmother and Belle. Both nodded in response.

"Okay," Ben said with a booming voice. It was that voice that sometimes struck fear into Brelyn. Would she be able to command people's attention like that? "Let's get started.

Everyone began to take their seats. Brelyn's seat was in between Mal's seat and Belle's. She looked around as she saw many other familiar faces: Commander Li Shang, who was head of Auradon Military, Cinderella and Charming, Aurora and Phillip, two of the seven dwarves, Grumpy and Doc just to name a few.

"So," Ben began. "Today's meeting is quite a controversial one here in Auradon. We'll be going over barrier control of the Isle of the Lost and how to improve living conditions on the Isle."

"Why do we even still have that Isle?" asked Melody. "Why don't we just bring everyone over? There are still innocent kids being born over there. We can't punish them for something that happened way before they were even born."

"First let's talk about barrier control," Ben interrupted. "Commander Shang, everything's running smoothly?"

"From what I can tell," Shang replied. "Nothing peculiar has happened that raised any red flags. Everything around the barrier seems to be pretty normal."

"That's nice to hear," Ben responded. "Now onto living conditions."

"I say don't worry about it," Grumpy began. "Those villains know what they did. Let them live like that!"

Mal began to feel uncomfortable. Some of the members could see that. "Now, I don't fully agree with that," Doc added. "Yes, those villains did some pretty terrible things. I don't disagree that they should live that life, but what about their children and grandchildren?" he asked motioning to Mal and Brelyn. "Don't forget, our own nephew, Doug, married a villain kid, and they had a beautiful daughter together."
