A girl with dark skin sat upon a pirate ship. She had dark, curly hair and wore a red coat, black jean shorts, teal fishnets, and black boots. She has lived on the Isle of the Lost her entire life. The only people she knew were her parents, their crew, and the children of the crew members. Whenever she wasn't on the ship, she would be in her grandmother's fish and chip shop.

She looked out towards Auradon. The barrier around the Isle kept her and all its residents inside. She looked up to the sky where fireworks were being shot off. "What's going on over there?" she asked herself.

"Maybe this will help," a blonde boy who wore an orange vest said as he handed her something.

It was a newspaper. The girl read the main article on the top. "Princess Brelyn returns to Auradon and reclaims her spot as heir to the throne," she read. "Isn't that King Ben and Queen Mal's daughter that I heard they gave up all those years ago?"

"I'm pretty sure," the boy replied. "Who would do that to their own child. I think the other people who gave up their kids were named Carlos, Jay, and Evie. At least that's what my dad said. And I thought our parents were evil villains. At least they raised us on their own. I mean, like my grandpa Gaston always says-"

"I don't care what your grandfather says!" she yelled starting to get annoyed.

"Well my uncle, Gaston Jr., says-"

"Shut up!"

"Well," the boy said slowly. "My uncle, Gaston III, always says-"

"I don't care what any of the Gaston's have to say!" the girl yelled. "Just shut up!"

He kept his mouth shut. However, a thought came to his mind. "Do you ever wonder why all of our names start with the same initial as our parents and grandparents?"

The girl threw her hands in the air in defeat. "Greg! What did I just say?"

"I mean, My grandfather, both my uncles, my dad, and I all start with Gs." Another thought came into his mind. "U must be a hard letter to work with. Your grandmother and mom's names are the only ones I know that actually work."

"Why do you think I have the H from my dad?!"

"Why are you in such a bad mood?" The girl was silent for a moment. "Come on Hannah, you can tell me."

Hannah sighed. "When our parents were teenagers, Auradon was frequently taking kids from the Isle to live in Auradon. How come they're not doing that anymore? We don't deserve to suffer on this pathetic, little island. How come they started with the kids of Cruella De Vil, Jafar, Evil Queen, and Maleficent? Why couldn't they have started with Gaston, Captain Hook, or Ursula? Now their children are living the perfect, little life while we're forced to rot here! What have we done to deserve this fate? We've done nothing wrong! Our own parents never did anything wrong either! It was all our grandparents! We're being punished by association! We deserve to live in Auradon just as much as all those other kids."

Suddenly, a dark figure approached the two teenagers. He had dark hair and crystal blue eyes. He had a red coat that was very similar to Hannah's. "Your mom wants you at the chip shop," he said with a Scottish accent. "You better hurry. You know how she can get when she doesn't get her way. She's basically the queen of this town."

"Okay dad," she replied as the man was, in fact, her father. "Bye Greg." She jumped off her perch and exited the ship.

"Be careful!" the man yelled.

'I will!"

Greg was about to follow her as he was very curious, but the tall man stood in front of him. "Don't wanna get hooked now do we?"

"N-No sir," Greg replied.

"Now why don't you go run along and find your father. He'll want to hear about the plan."

Greg nodded as he began to run off. Greg had known Hannah's family ever since he was born. However, he still feared them greatly. Can't really blame him since everybody on the Isle of the Lost feared them.

Hannah entered Ursula's Fish and Chip Shop. "Mom," she called out. "Are you in here?" Suddenly, black and purple tentacles swung through the shop. They almost swung Hannah off her feet. Hannah was able to avoid tripping, but she just barely made it. "Whoa!" she shouted.

"Shut your clam!" the voice yelled.

"Yes grandma," she replied with an annoyed voice.

"Hannah," a woman called out. She had dark skin like Hannah. She wore mainly teal clothing, and her hair was teal and white and was in many braids. "So glad you could join me."

"Why did you call me here?" Hannah asked.

"I'm assuming you've heard the news."

"Are you talking about Princess Brelyn?"

The woman nodded. "Yes. Also known as the daughter of that little witch Mal and beasty-boy Ben. Oh, all the things I'm going to do the next time I see their precious little faces."

"Okay, but what does revenge have to do with me?" Hannah asked.

"Oh Hannah," the woman began. "My poor unfortunate soul of a daughter. You are the center of this great plan. It shouldn't be too long." Hannah looked at her mother in confusion. The woman rolled her eyes as she saw the confusion in her daughter's eyes. She tried to look away, but her daughter's crystal blue eyes kept her on focus. "This 'princess' will soon become queen in a few short years. If she's anything like Mal, she's going to break sooner or later. Mal has her weaknesses and so will she."

"A few years?" Hannah asked. "Why can't we do this now?"

"Patience is a virtue, my sweet child," the woman said walking up closer to Hannah. "Now, what's my name?"

"Excuse me?" Hannah asked as she started to question her mother's tactics.

"What's my name!?"

"Uma," Hannah mumbled.

"Say it louder!"

"Uma!"

Uma gave her daughter a smirk. "Now, come my dear. We have a lot to go over." Uma wrapped her arm around Hannah as they walked back to the shipyard. Hannah wasn't sure what Uma had in mind, but she knew whatever was going to happen would change her life for the greater. A fire began growing inside of her as she thought about it more. She let out an evil laugh. Uma joined in. "Leaving us here will be their last regret!"
