We were not meant to be

Chapter -2

I was hurt but tried  not to show it. Emma comforted me by putting her hands over my shoulders.I walked to Vlad's car as he was busy kissing  her lips .We cleared our throats but they didn't seem to hear that .
Emma smiled mischiveously at me and I smiled at her.
"Vlad", we both shouted in unison.

Vlad and Madinson  were startled but managed to recover. Thats when I saw a evil smirk on his face.

"You both are going to pay for this ", he came charging towards us while  we ran for our lives.

Emma went and locked herself in her car in an attempt to escape while me being the unlucky one was still looking for a place to hide.
I ran as fast as I can even though I knew he would catch me .Come on who am I kidding he's the Captain of  our football team.He eventually caught me by encircling his arms around my waist holding me in his grip while he started tickling me along my stomach

"Don't you dare do that", I said while trying to wiggle out of his grip while trying to control my laughter .
At this moment in is arms laughing like there's no tomorrow was my happy place. I could stay like this forever.
But it's not possible I thought when my gaze travelled to Madinson who was now frowning.
Vlad finally stopped tickling me  and we walked to his car where Madinson was standing. Emma didn't have the courage to get out of the car so she drove past us while waving  at us.
I then saw Madinson who tried to play it cool as if  she was not affected that we were playing like  three year olds. She tried to maintain a neutral expession. She kissed him goodbye and she went to her car mumbling a bye to me.
I sat in the car with Vlad .On the way of our drive we were having our own concert by humming our favourite songs.
We reached home and I went to look if anyone was there but as usual no one was there. I throwed a packet of chips and told to help himself if he needs anything as it was more like his home than mine.
I was beyond tired and trust me high school drains your energy even if it's the first day. I crashed on the couch just trying to escape from reality when I heard Vlad shout,
"Wake up you sleepyhead you need to tutor me".

I got up dreading it and we went to my room. The familiar scent of my favourite perfume along with the smell lavender candles calmed me. I  took my notebooks out as I sat on my bed while he sat on the chair.
I started to explain by working out an example continued by other sums when Vlad was busy checking his phone grinning from ear to ear .
My anger level reached a 101 for like a 10 in my angry meter!!!
I tried remain calm but all that happened today overwhelmed me.

"If you don't want to concentrate just go and don't waste both of our time by sitting here while you are in your own  dreamland", I said gritting my teeth.

"Hey I was just chatting with Madinson about the plans for our date",he said lifting his head .

"You have a date " I said sounding not to be too surprised.

"Yes mam I have a date" he said with a sly smile on his lips.

"Okay we can talk about that later but  you should  concentrate while I am teaching ",  I said trying to hide my emotions while completely failing .

Yes it hurts me every minute when I see him with another girl. Kissing her and holding her hand. But it is what it is. You can't always have the one you want .
And yes life is Unfair but you just have to deal with it.
Then I continued teaching him and told him to work out some problems.
I did my own homework and after we sat in our couch watching Netflix while Vlad drifted of to sleep.
I saw him trying to remember every moment of it. I edged closer to him while  watching him quietly. I took a blanket and wrapped around him. I layed my head on his chest while he snuggled by putting his arms around my waist too deep in sleep to realize  I thought .
Suddenly feeling tired I yawned and closed my eyes. After a few hours which seemed like minutes I woke up to the sound of my alarm making me feel irritated .  I tried to get up but I was too tired to survive another day of high school.
I finally got up to find Vlad still sleeping soundly .I contemplated my decision whether to wake him as needed to get ready for school but he looked so peaceful in his sleep that I intended not to.
I noticed him slightly twitching and he did wake up mouthing a
"Good morning ".
He went to his home to get showered and changed while I went to get ready. Emma picked me up and we went to our school.
As we reached the school corridor I saw Madinson draped over Vlad and him grinning like an idiot.
If I remember  correctly today is their date. Oh god!! why did I think about his date with Madinson. Why can't I just spend a day peacefully without thinking about anything .
I just tried to forget it. It's never going to happen and he is never going to like me back.He thinks me only has his friend my friend I told myself.
I should just try to get over him I thought. Maybe one day I might.
