SHEPHERD'S PIE

INGREDIENTS:
-250 g cooked meat
-1 tomato
-2 small onions
-2 tablespoons milk
-350 g cooked yam or cassava
-2 tablespoons melted margarine
-75 ml stock
-salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:
-Prepare and sauté seasoning.
-Remove skin,etc. From meat. Chop or mince it.
-Mix meat,seasonings,stock,and put mixture in a pie dish.
-Mash yam or cassava,add milk and melted margarine; add salt and pepper.
-Pile over meat and smooth with a wet knife,then decorate. This will form a crust when cooked.
-Brown quickly in a hot oven.
-If desired,use some of the mashed yam to line the pie dish before putting in the meat mixture.
-enjoy.
