It's just a car...

It's been a three weeks since Dean got drunk. He became very distant from Sam and them not sharing a room anymore didn't really help with that. Sam moved in Claire's room. Making the room to Sam's liking a bit wasn't that hard, giving Claire had her walls full with Doctor Who and Sherlock posters, also some Avengers and Spider Man, maybe even some of Teen Wolf. Dean had now a room for his own, he spend his days there, only coming out for food, the bathroom and school.

School was another thing that didn't go quite well. Ever since they came out, people started bullying them and because the teachers were all a bit homophobic they didn't do anything about it. The author here doesn't even know why Micheal and Lucifer were at the school, they're both adults. Anyway, Gabriel managed to get good grades, well, good grades from his point of view, with everything going on. Sam on the other hand couldn't pay attention in class whenever there was a test, he always heard people whisper things like 'fag' and 'filthy cocksucker'. He know that he shouldn't care what they say, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't hurt. Dean barely talked at school, his grades were horrible, but he doesn't seem to care. He mostly just sits somewhere in the back and stares out of the window, waiting for the time to pass. Teachers sometimes call him out, but he never answers, that's how he often spends his time in the principal office. Claire and Kevin were the only two that don't get bothered with anything. Kevin didn't know the boys that well, but even he could see that they were different from the first time he met them. Claire was worried that Sam would fall back into his 'selective mute mode' or even back to self harm, even though this would have different reasons than before. Claire decided to wait this out for a bit, Jody agreed on that. That was until today.

"Dean, come out of your room, you need to go to school" Jody knocked on his bedroom door. "I'm coming" he muttered. Dean opened the door and walked downstairs. "Morning Dean" Claire said with a fake excitement, only to get a 'hmm' in return. "If you want you can drive Baby later, Dean" Jody said, she normally didn't let Dean drive her because he was underage. "It's just a car Jody, you don't need to call it 'baby'" he said to her. That was the drop, Sam, Jody and Claire stared at Dean with wide eyes. "Dean, you love that car, you love her more than anything" Jody said to him. "It's just a car, Jody" Dean snapped. Then he walked out of the house, no one bothered to follow him.

Dean made his way to the garage where the Impala was. He looked at her for a moment before grabbing a crowbar and looking at the hood of the car. He had a blank expression, then it turned to anger. He gripped on to the crowbar in his hands, tight enough to make his knuckles go white, then he slammed it on the hood of the car. He did it again and he didn't noticed the tears streaming down his face when he kept hitting one of his most valuable possessions. The sound echoed through the garage and he didn't notice that it was loud enough that people in the house could hear it. Claire came running, Sam following close after her. He knew that Dean didn't want to see him, but he had to know if he was alright. Claire stood in the door opening watching how her best friend broke down. "Dean! Dean, stop it!" She yelled. When Dean stopped hitting for a moment, she took that chance to ran towards him and put her arms around him, pulling him in a hug. Dean loosened his grip on the crowbar, letting it slip form his hand, it falling on the ground with a loud rattling sound. He didn't hug back, he just stared at Sam's shocked expression. Dean carefully pushed Claire of and walked towards Sam. Sam looked down to his boyfriend, he was so close to his face that he couldn't help but letting his eyes flicker down to Deans lips. As if Dean knew what Sam was thinking he leaned forward and pressed his lips against Sam's. That was the first time they kissed in three weeks and it lasted way to short for either one of them. "I'm sorry Sam" he muttered. Somehow hitting the Impala, crying and kissing Sam brought him back to his senses. "Me too, Dean" Sam said and pulled Dean into a bone crushing hug. Claire smiled softly at the two boys, but her look changed to horror when they moved away, only to lean back for a kiss. She knew that if she didn't get out of here now she would witness those two having make up sex and she didn't want that. "I'm....gonna....go" she said when backing up to the door, then quickly turning and running away.
