Five weeks after Mary died.

Adam is now in a mental institution. He's still convinced that someone set the fire, but according to the police it wasn't. There was a gas leak and that didn't end well.

John, well, he didn't handle Mary's death well. He's drinking, like a lot. He still blames Dean for her death and that didn't end well for him. Dean got beat up a few times and Sam is the one who cleaned him up after.

Sam and Dean are still together. They had a lot of support from each other and whenever Sam had a nightmare, those got way more in the last few weeks, he would cuddle together with Dean. Normally he would only get nightmares when he sleeps alone, but now also when Deans with him. He always manages to calm him down, but that's only for a while.

Sam also started cutting again. Dean hadn't noticed yet, but he knew something was off. Especially when he wouldn't take off his shirt in front of Dean anymore.

Now the three Winchesters were at Mary's funeral. John was drunk, like always, but he was there. Dean was leaning against Sam, but careful not to make it look like anything but brotherly love. Sam was just looking at how the coffin got lowered into the grave. 'Everyone leaves me eventually' he thought to himself.

After the funeral John was nowhere to be found. The two kids didn't think much of it by now, he was gone most of the time anyway, probably getting (more) drunk in some random bar. Dean and Sam were sitting on the couch together, watching some random tv show called FRIENDS. They've heard of it once, but never seen it before. Just as the episode ended they heard a knock on the front door. "I'll get it" Sam said and got up from the couch.

"Hi Sam, we wanted to know how you and Dean are doing?" Gabriel asked standing in the doorway with his two brothers -Castiel and Lucifer- and brothers boyfriend -Micheal.

"I'm okay, but Dean is a different story. Just come in, he could use the distraction."

The boys got in the house and made their way to the living room. Castiel plopped down next to Dean, Gabriel went to sit on the floor against the edge of the couch, when Luci sat on a chair and pulled Micheal on his lap. Sam came into the room a moment later with something to drink for everyone and sat down between Cas and Dean. "Dean? Are you okay?" Castiel asked. Dean sighed, "Could everyone stop asking me that same fucking question over and over again! No I'm not okay, my mom died! How do you think I feel!?" He got up from the couch and ran upstairs to his room. Sam sighed and looked sympathetically to his friend, "It's not your fault Cassie, he's been like that for the past few weeks."

After a while Sam got up and went to check on Dean. He saw Dean curled up on the bed, he also saw a half full whiskey bottle on the ground. Dean heard footsteps coming towards him, so he looked up and met the hurtful eyes of Sam. "Dean, when did you drink that?" He pointed to the bottle on the ground. Dean shrugged, "today."

"All of it?"

Dean nodded and looked away from Sam. He sighed and went to sit on the bed next to his brother, "Don't do that man, please don't do that." After a while they fell asleep together, cuddling.

Sam's POV

I felt a warm breath against my neck and opened my eyes. I saw Deans messy bed hair, what I honestly loved very much. Sadly enough I had to pee, so I stood up, hoping that I didn't wake up Dean and walked to the bathroom. After I relieved myself, I went back to Deans bedroom, but on my way there I bumped into John, "S-sorry." I hoped that I could get away without any trouble, but that hope left when I felt him grab my wrist.

Third POV

A moment after John grabbed the boy's wrist, he slammed him into the wall. That sound caused Dean to wake up. "What did you say?!" He heard his father yell. "Damnit" he mumbled and quickly went his way to the yelling. He saw how Sam crumbled to the floor, begging for mercy, "please John, don't." Dean immediately ran over to his boyfriend/brother, "Sammy you okay?"
