This is a description of the world in which my characters live called Caliginous, will update as needed.
Caliginous has a very apocalyptic/post apocalyptic feel, there is no sunlight because the sun is covered by clouds, smog, and other pollution. Each region and country is very different depending on where you are, some areas are more rural, some are more urbanized, some are more dead and barren and other areas have a steampunk or celtic feel feel. There are simple social classes that is the understood law in this world, but those classes will be explained in the next chapter. Most of the areas are very dirty and grimy, with many decrepit buildings. There is a very large, dense forest called the Nihilum surrounding one of the largest countries, Auxatia, and the forest acts as a border for the country of Auxatia. More about the Nihilum will be posted in a future chapter. This world has many more forests and wooded areas.
