Jimin has absolutely no idea what he meant with that statement. He'd probably be able to process it if he weren't in such shock from the hair change, not being able to tear his eyes away from the black locks.

"Do you like it?" Yoongi asked, a smile still on his face as he pulled on a strand of his hair to specify what he was talking about. "It's not as bold as silver but-"

"I don't think you've ever made a better decision in your life." He blurted out before he could stop himself, his hands immediately covering his mouth.

"Thanks." The corner of his lip twitched.

"When did you get it done?" Jimin couldn't help but ask, wondering how long he'd been deprived of this life changing event.

"Five, six days ago. I'm not sure. Decided I should go natural after abusing my scalp with bleach for so many years."

It had been five or six days with black haired Yoongi and Jimin wasn't informed? He felt disrespected and wanted death.

"Ah, I know the feel. I actually did the same, but I miss having colorful hair." He sighed, reminiscing his redhead days. "Thinking a grayish purple or pink next."

Yoongi hummed at that, nodding once. "Interesting." He stared at him as if he were imagining him with said hair colors, and Jimin grew hot once again under his gaze. "Pink would be cute."

Pink for the win then, no need to debate on it anymore. If Yoongi said pink hair was cute, then pink hair was fucking cute and Jimin would dye his hair pink.

"I'll keep that in mind." He paused. "So what're you doing here?" He changed the topic.

Yoongi began walking away from the younger, expecting him to follow afterwards, so he did of course. Yoongi sat down at a table with a laptop and some books spread out on top of it. Jimin furrowed his eyebrows, wavering on whether or not he should sit next to him.

However, he didn't have to struggle too much with that decision because-

"You're cute." Yoongi stated after seeing his obvious internal conflict, pointing to the chair to his side. "You can sit, you know."

Jimin nodded and sat down, biting his bottom lip nervously. More alone time with Min Yoongi, he wasn't prepared.

"What kind of professor assigns a group project so early in the semester?" He sighed, leaning forward and resting his elbows on the table, his head in his palms. "And doesn't even let us pick our partners?" He scrunched up his nose. "Of course I get stuck with the slackers, and I've been here all week trying to do their work because it's college and there's no such thing as receiving full credit on just your part."

Despite Yoongi's predicament, Jimin couldn't help but smile. He was too cute, the way he complained about it all. It also explained why he was MIA all week, and Jimin was quite relieved. He chuckled when Yoongi finished speaking as he scanned the books on the table.

"What's funny about my suffering, Park Jimin?" He exasperated, a pout forming on his lips.

Jimin melted.

"Nothing, nothing! I promise. What's the project on anyways?"

"We got to choose our topic, and you wanna know what my group picked?" He asked, waiting for Jimin to egg him on.

"What?"

"The history of mathematics." He let it sink in for a few moments before continuing. "And quite frankly, I could give a rats ass about how people learned that two plus two equals fish. I'm a photographer, what am I going to do with this information in the future?"

"Someone isn't a big fan of math." Jimin commented teasingly, finding Yoongi's frustrated side adorable.

"Definitely not." He huffed. "I don't understand why they'd even pick that topic."

Jimin was so whipped.

"Since you're doing the project by yourself, why didn't you just change the topic?" He asked curiously.

Yoongi was silent for a second, seemingly deep in thought. "I hadn't thought about that..." he trailed off, looking a bit depressed. "But it's too late now! I'm almost done." He pressed his forehead against the table.

Jimin resisted the urge to ruffle his hair.

"Oh, c'mon, Hyung! Don't be so down! You've worked so hard! I believe in you!" He held up his fists.

Yoongi lifted his head so that only his chin was resting on the table. "Sorry, I know you probably don't care, but I just needed to get that out of my system."

Jimin immediately shook his head. "No, it's fine!" He reassured him, offering a small smile.

"Thank you." He said sincerely, sitting back up in his chair and cracking his knuckles.

"No problem, Hyung. I should get going now! I don't want to distract you any longer." Jimin really didn't want to leave, but he didn't want to be a nuisance to the older. He began to stand up, but he felt a tug at his sleeve pulling him back down.

"It's my break time away from this stress, so keep me company."

Jimin had to check if he was still breathing.

Yep, there was a pulse.

He let out a shaky breath before nodding, a shy smile on his face as he settled back into his chair.

"So you were looking for me?" He suddenly questioned.

"Oh god." Jimin muttered, pressing his palm to his forehead.

"I was actually waiting for you to appear, but you didn't." He pursed his lips.

"Aw, did you miss me?" Jimin grinned happily, not caring about his red face at this point in time.

"Hm, you could say that, I guess." He smirked, eyes falling to Jimin's bright smile.

Jimin was fidgeting with the ends of his sleeves, his nerves building back up with Yoongi's full attention on him. "I didn't want to scare you off-"

Their conversation was cut short with the entering of a third person plopping down into the seat across from Jimin and to the other side of Yoongi.

Jimin was both upset and relieved.

"Hey Hoseok." Yoongi leaned back in his seat, greeting his best friend but not sharing eye contact.

Hoseok had the biggest shit eating grin on his face. "Hi Yoongs, Jiminie." He nodded his head at the younger, Jimin managing a small wave in return. "You still aren't done, huh."

"Unfortunately."

"Shouldn't you go take a nap? Should be resting up for tomorrow."

"Well considering this is due tonight, there will be no rest for me." He sighed, rubbing his temples. "Speaking of which, are you coming tomorrow?"

"Dude, of course, what kind of best friend would I be if I wasn't?"

Jimin was confused at what "tomorrow" was, but soon pieced it together once he remembered the school calendar he had checked that morning.

"Ah, you've got the basketball game tomorrow, don't you?" Jimin questioned.

Yoongi turned to him with a bewildered expression, raising his eyebrows.

"What?" Jimin panicked.

"I don't recall telling you I was on the basketball team." Yoongi's expression was smug while Jimin stared at him wide eyed. Hoseok was desperately trying to hold in his laughter.

"Wait a second, were you the guy his coach was te-"

"Wow, I almost forgot! I have to, uh, I have to help Jungkook with something. Yeah, so uh, bye!" Jimin cut Hoseok off, his embarrassment too much to handle, standing up and trying his best not to run down the stairs and out of the library.
