N/N- Nickname

The only interesting thing to happen on the same Monday, was Y/N listening to almost everyone in school talking about Ram and Kurt's homecoming party. Apparently, Veronica puked on one of the Heather's shoes, and she wandered out of the house, nobody seeing her for the rest of the night. The entire "speech" Y/N's father gave her after he found out in the morning almost made her, Millie, and even himself late for school or work. Even on Tuesday, Y/N went to school, talked with friends, checked in on Evan and Zoey, and avoided any contact with any of The Heathers or Ram and Kurt.

It wasn't until 8:00 at night, until her phone rang with Zoey's number.

"Hey, how are you doing?" Y/N asked, rubbing her eyes; senior year of high school isn't the most relaxing.

"Home. Now." She heard Zoey almost growl.

She furrowed her eyes in confusion. "Zuzu, are you okay?"

"Come to my house, right now." Zoey tried her best to sound calmer on the other line.

Y/N sighed, and got up from her bed. "Okay, okay, I'll be right over." She hung up. Again, she sighed, and marched out her room, silently praying that her father would let her go.

"No, absolutely not."

Y/N pursed her lips in annoyance. "Okay, why not?"

"It's a school night, she lives about fifteen minutes away, and believe me I know you wont be gone for 'just ten minutes'." He mimicked his daughter.

She tried her best not to scoff. "Please, I've only been late once in my life."

"And that one time was a few days ago."

Y/N clenched her fists so tightly, she thought she would prick herself. "If I'm not back by 9:30, than you can ground me for how ever long you want."

He tilted his head to the side in slight amusement. "9:10."

She chuckled. "Weird time."

"I could make it nine if you want to?"

She shook her head while grabbing her car keys, "No, 9:10 is perfect." She instantly walked out the front door, quickly opened and got into her car, and almost past the speed limit on her way to Zoey's house.

When she was dead center in front of the house, she got out and checked her watch: 8:10, one more hour. She marched up the steps to the front door, and knocked somewhat timidly; she couldn't remember how long it was ever since she was at Zoey's house. In almost an instant, the door pulled right open; of course, being pulled by Cynthia Murphy, Zoey's mom.

"Oh my goodness, hello Y/N!" She immediately hugged the teen, surprising her. "It has been forever since you've been here. Oh lord, I think you're taller than me! I remember when you would come here, you would be this tall." The woman put her hand to the top of her leg.

Y/N chuckled politely. "Thank you ma'am. Is Zoey in her room? She called me a minute ago to come here."

Cynthia's face slightly fell. "Oh, she did? I guess that's why she's so moody." The mother instantly realized what she said. "Oh! Oh dear, I don't mean to tell you so much, tonight was such an odd night. This was the second night in a row where Evan came for dinner, and he ended up running out the door before he ate anything!"

Y/N completely froze in her tracks. Evan was here? "Oh, that does seem very weird."

The mother nodded. "Oh, I'm sorry honey, you want to see Zoey now! Come right in." she moved back inside the house, and Y/N walked in too. The house almost looked the same when Y/N was a small child; in fact, the house felt just a hint bigger.
