I, Mercury Caduceus, cannot tell for how long I have to wait until help arrives. But, I can tell that Asterism is not going to die. That is more than enough.

I have to spend a couple of days in the infirmary to treat the bruises on my legs. During my stay there, Galaxy visits with five big packs of senbei.

I think my mouth watered at the sight of these big packs of senbei.

Asterism is sent to the hospital, because head injury is nothing a school nurse can confidently treat.

The incident in the library starts an investigation to find the culprit. The prank might be done in jest, but it is proven to be quite harmful.

Initially, books are easy to be accessed and shelves do not easily fall off. What happened to Asterism and I had proved the common belief otherwise.

I do not ask for compensation, but I certainly won't turn away when the school broad members present it to me.

As for what I demand as compensation... It is nothing difficult. I only ask for the renovation of the library building, to find and improve everything and make sure this incident won't repeat on other students.

The fee for the renovation? I am sure they have it in their pockets.

Once discharged from the infirmary, I process to continue with my life as usual, if somewhat tediously.

I have nothing important to do. No friends to hang out with and no club activity to participate. As it comes down to this, should I go back to my previous life's hobby, by immersing myself in the 2D world?

I now have the money to spare to get any merchandises of any characters I like. I also can spend money on the games to get add-on contents. Thinking of it that way, it does sound enticing, isn't it?

I am truly blessed to be reincarnated as a rich young lady in a modern era where enjoyable games are readily available. If I had been reincarnated in a backward era, I would have died from boredom.

As I have never set foot in a game store in this life, I don't know whether this world has the games with genres I am interested in. Now is the time to find out about the quality of this world's gaming industry for myself.

As I am still recovering, I do not want to go somewhere too far away The closest available game store is a double store of game merchandises and internet cafe. It is close to school, so the school's gamers will definitely visit that place too.

Do I mind them finding me visiting that store? Not at all. I doubt they would even recognise me even if they do see me, as I have not done anything noteworthy. I did not debut as the Villainess, after all. This current me is just a nobody.

Once Sunday arrives, I wear a casual pair of blouse and jeans to visit that store. With a mini backpack for my wallet, phone, a pen, and a small notebook, I am ready. To go there, I will take a bus. I have checked which bus I need to take, so all I have to do now is going to the bus stop to wait for the bus to the route of my destination.

First, I plan to check out the game store. As for CDs of anime, OSTs, mangas, or novellas, I will need to visit other stores for them. I can also order them online, if I do not plan on going there myself. Because I have the time anyway, I decide to pay the store a visit in person.

The game store is quite big. The side which is used to open an internet cafe looks cosy too. I may play for an hour to check on the available games in this internet cafe.
