~Tom's POV~

I groaned, tossing and turning in my bed. I had been trying to fall asleep for the past few hours, but to no avail.

'Maybe T is awake?....' I think to myself, sitting up and reaching for my phone. Turning it on, I cover my eyes, the bright light from the phone burning my eyes for a moment.

Tom: 
[T.... You awake?]

T:
{I'm awake... why are you up at 3 AM?..}

Tom:
[I have insomnia....]

T:
{Oh... soooo why are you texting me?}
{Sorry if the way I said that seems rude.}

Tom:
[No, it's fine.]
[I gave up on trying to sleep, and I got bored.]

T:
{Ah, alright.}
{So... what do you want to talk about?}

Tom:
[Uh... i dunno.]

T:
{Do you have any pets?}

Tom:
[Er... sort of? My friend Edd has a pet cat named Ringo]
[He lives with us, so I guess he's also my pet?]

T:
{Cool.}

Tom:
[Well, what about you? D'you have any pets?]

T:
{No, but I've been thinking about getting a dog.}

Tom:
[What kind of dog?]

T:
{Eh, maybe a corgi?}

Tom:
[Cool.]

T:
{So... have you always had insomnia?}

Tom:
[No... I developed it recently due to an... "incident".]
[So far it's a bit on and off, but it's been getting worse recently.]

T:
{Oh... sorry for asking.}

Tom:
[It's fine.]
[So... do you have like any diseases or anything?]

T:
{Uh, no, as far as I know}
