The way he smiled at Mitch, showing off his laugh lines. The way his blue eyes were always sparkling. Mitch doesn't usually get lost, he has a good sense of direction, but when it comes to Scott's eyes, forget it, he's always lost in them. The way Scott hugs him, with all of his heart, like he's some kind of precious treasure. The way Scott just gets him, knows him better than anyone else does, sometimes his own self.
He knew he needed Scott in his life for the long haul. Scott made him better, made him happy to be alive.
