After our group meeting I was introduced to the group. I met the Bennett witch, Bonnie. The werewolf Tyler Lockwood. The humans Jeremy Gilbert and Matt Donavon; I met Barbie vamp Caroline Forbes. And then Damon's closest friend Alaric Saltzman. (is my spelling of ric's last name correct?)
"So how did you meet Damon?" Caroline asks as we all sit in the main room. Everyone but Damon and Stefan look at me curiously. Both brothers smirking, both knowing the story.
"Well, I was six when my father and I came to Mystic Falls from Spain. My mother and little sister had died of consumption and father didn't wish to be haunted by the past. He wanted a new start. My father was originally from New York but he came to Spain for business and fell in love with my mama. When we arrived to Mystic Falls we stayed with the Salvatore's for our first two weeks until our home was built. I had never been fully ladylike, I was always outside getting dirty while the rest of the girls my age were learning to sew. Stefan was a small baby at the time and Damon just a year older than me. Well on my third day at the Salvatore home I went outside to explore. I had only been introduced to Damon and hadn't had a chance to have a conversation with him yet, so when I was exploring I found myself being followed. I was fully aware that it was Damon, so when a hand grabbed me I wasn't scared...
{FLASHBACK}
"Little girls shouldn't be walking alone." The dark haired boy, Damon, says grabbing me.
"I am not a little girl, Cuervo
(Crow)." I reply to him pulling my arm out of his grasp. I hated being called little.
"What did you call me, little Spanish girl?" He said angrily.
"Do not call me Little!" I charged at him pushing him down and punching his face. He was trying to push me off but I wasn't moving.
"GABRIELLA!" I hear a voice yell the same time another yells at Damon.
Apparently we were so loud that both of our fathers came running out to see what was happening.
My father pulled me off of Damon reveling his black eye and busted lip.
"What is happening you two?" Damon's father asks us.
"El Cuervo llamó a mi pequeño, papá. No soy pequeño. (The Crow called my little, daddy. I am not little.)" I say to trying to swing at Damon again only to be restrained by my dad. My dad sighs, he was about to say something to Mr. Salvatore when Damon stepped up.
"I'm sorry father, Mr. Jameson. I had insulted Gabriella and she put me in my place. I am sorry for offending you Gabriella." He says looking at me.
" No se aceptan disculpas. Usted puede comer muck por todo lo que me importa. (Apology not accepted. You can eat muck for all i care.)" I say glaring at him before stomping off towards the house.
"Your daughter is a little spit fire Jack." Mr. Salvatore says.
"Just like her mother." My father replied. I hold back tears and keep going towards the house.
{END OF FLASHBACK}
"So you kicked Damon's ass? That's awesome!" Jeremy says. Causing everyone to laugh.
"Si! It was worth my punishment, the way his face looked at dinner, hahahaha." I laugh.
"Yeah well, I learned Spanish after that. Really, you couldn't think of anything other than crow? I didn't have feathers." Damon asks, causing me to smile softly.
"I was six years old and your hair remind me of how dark a crow was." I defend taking a sip of bourbon.
"Do you still sing?" Stefan asks randomly.
"Yes,"
"Sing something, please Gabi." Bonnie asks. Nodding my head I down the rest of my drink and stand up.

"That was beautiful!" He says hugging me. Hearing the front door open i look towards the front entryway only to see my favorite blonde original.
"Rebekah!" I squeal running to my best friend.
"Gabriella!"
