One of the worst feelings for a living being is being lonely or even the idea of loneliness. Be it actually being lonely or an instinct of being alone even when having a company, which is not desirable or contenting. Here, I present before you a poetic amalgamation of both these instances, 'Alone'. Hope you like it.

Alone
-Chintan Oza
When silence is the only sound
And darkness feels like lit surround
When tiny stars are all that shone
And you feel as if you are alone.

When the crowd around you seems
To be an empty space that screams
Or bodies of masses without a bone
And you feel as if you are alone.

When the walls solely hear you cry
And reverbs haunt, till tears go dry
No words to swear, you give out a moan
And you feel as if you are alone.

When you start finding yourself to be
One among the roles of a tragedy
Like losing someone you used to own
And you feel as if you are alone.

When riches make you feel like a beggar
What if it's of gold, that stabbed dagger
Adorned with fame yet unknown
And you feel as if you are alone.
