Feeble to Fit

Think of a person, weak and oppressed, living his life without a drop of confidence and drift. There are instances in his life where he gets a feeling of being empowered. He reunites with his near ones and a new zeal takes birth. But this ends soon when he finds that everything is short-lived. What more does it take to demotivate an already oppressed soul? But once, when there is a sudden gust of confidence, he is shocked. It was just the right mould. Life starts to act as a furnace and bakes him stronger. Still, he has a soft heart along with an unbreakable confidence. Eventually, he is toughened to deal with oppression.
The poem conveys the heroic transformation from being feeble to being fit. Hope you like it.

Feeble to Fit
-Chintan Oza
From shores to lofty cliffs
I was scattered all the way
Paused and silenced by size
In the feeble name of clay.

When there used to be showers
It bound me with a few alike
A short lived bond of mud
Till the sunlight would strike.

Once again I was dry and alone
Though close to my counterparts
Powerless to evolve as power
Where my search for strength starts.

An unusual splash of wetness
And the similar short lived bond
I was lifted up and thrown to flame
When the steam began to abscond.

I emerged out of the mighty flame
As a toughened block of clay
Still porous enough to feel the air
Too firm for the water to slay.

I stand strong as a part of a wall
And guard it with my might
Feeble to fit, was just as I was
Set ablaze and shining bright.
