Shi Jung releases the hug and she gives you that "you better play along" look before she turns to face got7 with a smile.

The thing is...

I didn't have the courage to tell them the truth so I just played along..

It was probably a stupid thing to do but in the moment, that's all I could think of

"Ooo, girl you look good!" Bambam says as he winks at me
"Yah!" Yugyeom says as he hits Bambam slightly on the head
"He's right though" Mark and Jackson say in unison

"Thank you guys" I reply with a small chuckle

Both Shi Jung and Rena were just eye rolling when they heard me reply...

We headed off, Shi Jung and Rena were talking over everyone so most of us just stayed quiet

We spent the rest of the night at a local cafe

Instead of it being a meet up with friends, it was more like a 'get to know Shi Jung and Rena' session..
they spent hours talking about themselves and nothing else.

Rena sat next to Jackson as close as she possibly could, staring at him throughout the whole thing...and
Shi Jung sat next to Yugyeom the whole time, very, very closely...
it was so frustrating,
I didn't even get to talk to him or any of the members all night.

They sat opposite of me so whenever I tried to make a conversation she would either kick me or interrupt straight away, although I knew that this was going to happen

It was getting late so I decided to use it as an excuse to leave,
as I got up I said
"It's getting late so I'll go now" with a slight smile towards the group

As Jackson and Yugyeom were about to say something,
they get cut off by Shi Jung
"Bye bestie, see you tomorrow!" She says as she winks at me

Oh I wanted to scream at her so bad... but I held it in and ignored it, no point in embarrassing myself any more than I already have

I left the cafe and started to walk back towards the dorms, it was only a 10 minute walk so it wasn't too bad.

Although a few minutes after I leave the cafe, I hear someone running behind me...

"Diana!" He says as he jogs up next to you

I turn around to see an exhausted Yugyeom..

"Yugyeom?
...
Why aren't you with them inside?" I ask in surprised tone

"I don't wanna stay with them, all they do is talk about themselves...
I'd rather be here"
he answers with a smile as we start to slowly walk back

"Yeah, its what I was expecting" I look down to the floor

"I thought they were your friends?"
He asks in confusion as he looks over at you

I loudly sigh and reply as I look up at the night sky
"No they're not, they're just other trainees"

"Then why did you say they're your friends?" He asks as he tilts his head, still confused

I stop in the middle of the path, turn to face him, look at him and chuckle

"What's so funny?" He asks with a small smile

"Nothing, you just look cute"

I immediately realise what had just come out of my mouth and I instantly turn around and keep walking

Omo.
Did I just.
Did I just say that
PABO

He kept walking next to me as if I hadn't said anything, although you can see that he had turned a little red from what I just said...
Aish...

We walk for a few minutes or so, in silence, but it wasn't an awkward silence, it was relaxed and comfortable weirdly...

As minutes pass, the weather becomes colder and knowing myself, I didn't bring any type of jacket, I was freezing

"Are you cold?" He asks as he looks over at you

"No, I'm oka-"

"Here" he says as he stops, takes his jacket off and puts it on you, making sure you're not cold
"I don't want you to get a cold"

"No, no, you're gonna get a cold if you give this to me..."

"I'll be fine, don't worry" he replies with a smile as he keeps walking

We walked In a comfortable silence the rest of the way, giving each other smiles every so often.

I'm glad I have him as my partner, I wouldn't want anyone else.

After we got back,
We quickly said goodbye and we both headed off to our dorms to get some rest.

Yugyeoms POV

The rest of the members were probably still out in the cafe...and for the first time,
I'm glad they're not here, otherwise they would all be smirking at me again...asking me the same questions

I got my stuff ready, and headed off to bed although words kept repeating in my head

"you just look cute"

I felt my face turn slightly red after remembering those words...
Why?

She's my partner, nothing else...but if that's true..

Then
why am I thinking about her.

Diana's POV

Mel was already sleeping, thankfully, at least she won't be interrogating me tonight

Although today didn't go the way I expected...
I'm glad I had some time to spend with him

I haven't even known him for long...yet I feel like I've known him my whole life.

I think I understand why I care about what he thinks about me...

I know,

It's best that I be honest with myself...
