Elisabeth POV
I slipped out of bed after texting Jessica and Fredrick. I walk down stairs to see Dad cuddling with Derick as usual. "Do you guys have to cuddle every morning?" I said in a jokingly way. "Well we just felt the need too" dad said letting go of Derick. "I saw you yesterday" I say poking at his patience. "Well we felt the need yesterday too."
"What's for lunch? Oh and can I go to the cafe to meet Jessica and Fredrick?" "Yes sweetie, you can" he said getting back to cuddling with Derick. I'm just glad dad found someone who he likes not like Mom and him, they never did anything like that.
I get dressed and I hop down the stairs. I see dad still with Derick watching The walking dead. Before I close the door I say "who cuddles while watching The Walking Dead?"
I hear them laughing from outside. I put my earbuds in and I start to walk.
