"Not again, Jae, this is my fifth time explaining."

"I don't want to mess up again,"

"You know this is why Doyoung left us,"

"He left because he hated us being lovey-dovey."

"How is this lovey-dovey?"

"I am trying to learn how to tie your hair and you don't think this is a lovey-dovey act?"

"How is that even?"

"I hate Ten,"

"He doesn't like you too,"

"Can't you support me for once?"

"I am, don't you see?" Eunseo turned around and raised her fists. "Fighting, Jung Jaehyun!"

"Song Eunseo, you, seriously..."

"This is why, never agree to Ten's dare, and why the hell did he ask you to tie up my hair?"

"I don't know,"

"Well, let's just get this over with."

He tried his best to actually tie up her hair. "So, I just use this?" He showed her the hairband and she nodded.

"This isn't as easy as it looks,"

"Oh, Jae,"

"How do girls tie up their hair? Especially with long hair?"

"If you don't, then you'll get hot,"

"Is this why you wanted to cut your hair last month?"

"Yeah, it's summer and I'm dying,"

"You're not, you're just hot,"

"Don't make puns,"

"Aw,"

He finally tied up her hair, though it looked messy and was tied loosely.

"Your hair smells like shampoo," he said, sniffing her hair.

"That's because I wash my hair with shampoo?" She answered in a 'duh' tone.

"True," he mumbled and played with the ugly ponytail he made.

"Are you done yet?"

"Yeah,"

"Let me see it,"

"I'll go get you a mirror,"

He rushed off to her room to take a mirror and handed it to her.

Eunseo was actually expecting a good result since he was dexterous—which is good with his hands. She should have expected less, knowing he's never tied a girl's hair before in his life.

"Does it look good?"

She stared at her reflection in the mirror. Looking at how she looks right now reminded her of the song in Mulan.

"...Yeah, it looks, um, okay,"

"It's bad, isn't it?" He asked, feeling dejected.

"No! Nonono, it looks...quite unique!"

"That's just another word for weird,"

"I'm not gonna lie," she forced a smile. "It looks like shit,"

Jaehyun sighed as he leaned back to the sofa and sulked. His lips pursed and his expression darkened.

"Hey, it's not thaaaaat bad, it's just..." she trailed off.

"I heard enough," he hugged a pillow to his face.

"Jaehyuuuuunnn," she whined his name while shaking his legs.

"I can't believe my own beloved girlfriend would do such a thing to me,"

"Aish, Jaehyun-ah~ don't be like this." She leaned close to him and tried to pry off the pillow. He held the pillow firmly in his arms and ignored her.

"How about I do your hair too? That's fair, right?" She suggested and she saw him slowly loosening his hold on the pillow.

"Are you okay with that?" She asked, pulling away the pillow, revealing a soft smile on his face.

"Okay,"

She stood up and made him sit straight. She held onto his chin to make him face her.

"Wow, you're oozing with girl crush vibes today."

"Oh, shut up,"

Her hands started to play with his hair. Truthfully, she doesn't even know what she's doing but he didn't seem to mind since he kept on staring at her.

She had no idea on what to do, so she just ruffled his hair a few times, creating a masterpiece of a messy hairstyle on Jaehyun.

"You look handsome,"

"I know, your boyfriend is really one good looking guy,"

She scoffed playfully meanwhile his arms lingered onto her waist.

"Can you stop touching?"

"I can't resist myself, young lady."

"Well, you ought to,"

"I'll learn,"

Lastly, she fixed the details to his messy hair.

"Perfect!"

"Like you,"

She was about to scold him when she noticed the longing look on his face. His hands reached for her cheeks and she instantly felt warm.

He brushed his thumb on her cheek and smiled sweetly.

They were too busy looking at each other to realize another person in the room.

"Oh, sorry, hi, guys, again. Don't mind me, I'm just here to take this," Doyoung held his wallet in his hand while avoiding to look at the couple—who didn't even spared a glance. "I'll take my leave, adieu!"

"Did you hear that?"

"Doyoung,"

"Yeah,"

"You can let go of me now,"

He snorted in shock and released her from his arms.

"Wow, so much of a romantic situation,"

"Wanna take a picture?"

"Should we?"

"We shall," Jaehyun immediately reached for his phone and snapped pictures of them both.

Once.

Twice.

Thrice.

And so on.

The first picture came out prettily.

The second, he was staring at her.

The third, he planted a kiss on her cheek.

The fourth, she planned on choking him to death.

"Hey, Jaehyun,"

"Yeah?"

"You better learn how to properly tie a girl's hair,"

"Why?"

"You're not going to tie our daughter's hair like this, are you?" She pointed to her own hair.

"So, you want to have kids with me?"

"Is that the only thing you heard?"

"Only thing I care,"
