Picture on the side is Evelyn!

The days were getting hectic as it was getting closer and closer for me to leave. I was currently sitting in a car on my way to meet Evelyn and stay in a hotel with me for the night, so we could head to the airport early in the morning. I was excited that we was going to see each other in real life; I have been friends with for several years but never was able to meet. My earphones were plugged into my ears as ‘Gold Forever’ sang softly into my ears.

Say my name like it's the last time,

Live today like it’s your last night,

We want to cry but we know it’s alright,

Cause I'm with you and your with me,

Butterflies, butterflies…we were meant to fly,

You and I, you and I…colors in the sky,

We could rule the world someday, somehow but we'll never be as bright as we are now.

We're standing in a light that won't fade,

Tomorrow's coming but this won't change,

Cause some days stay gold forever.

The memory of being here with you,

Is one I'm gonna take my life through,

Cause some days stay gold forever.

Before I knew my dad was shaking me awake and pointing towards the gas station where I agreed to meet Evelyn. I couldn’t hold in my excitement and quickly opened the door, launching myself at Evelyn as we landed in the grass laughing at each other.

“Hey there Evelyn!” I exclaimed while getting off of her to sit next to her on the grass with a real smile worn on lips.

“Hello there Akiyama! That was a nice greeting wasn’t it.” She stuck her tongue out at the other and she couldn’t help but laugh.

“Yesss, you know me though well the real me.” I gave her a calm smile and moved to stand, “So into another car and then the hotel for the night? That was a long 6 hour drive and I just want to collapse into a bed, mainly because I’m not looking forward to the jetlag we will have!”

“And we’re off to the car we go!” Evelyn grinned and grabbed a hold of my hand as she dragged me to the car.

Personally, in my head anyways, Evelyn was way better looking than me. Gorgeous hazel eyes with brown hair that stopped at her shoulders and from what I heard from her on twitter, a lot of people liked her or was jealous of her. I was often the one who would attempt to comfort her and tell her to ignore what people said about her.

I smiled at the thought as I knew a lot of boys were going to go after her in the UK, if they saw her, and boy would they be in for a surprise.

The next day we went to the airport and had to wait around for a couple of hours, which urged me to go buy a few books for the trip, though for most of it I would be knocked out due to sleeping pills. What surprised me was the amount of girls that seemed to be around our entrance to the plane, making eyebrow raise in wonder of what they were doing, yet I wasn’t going to go and ask them about it.

After buying a few books I wandered back over to their airplane entrance and popped my pills to get ready for the long flight that it would be, gently poking Evelyn awake. “The plane is here, they’re just getting the place cleaned up and then we go. First Class here we come!” I laughed and started tickling her after she didn’t get up, grinning widely as she screamed and tried to push me off.

I stuck my tongue out at her and we both grabbed our bags as we got into line, though I was still wondering why everyone was getting excited. I nudged Evelyn and leaned over to whisper, “Why are there so many people here? I mean I know we’re going to the UK but what is with all the girls?”

I shrugged my shoulders and whispered back, “Who knows, maybe a celebrity or something?”

I frowned but shrugged my shoulders as they started to get on the plane and put their stuff away, settling down in a chair with Evelyn next to me. Screams were heard outside of the plane and I winced, placing earphones inears clearly  not excited at the thought of a celebrity being on the plane.

My eyes were about to slide shut until I noticed that suddenly the first class was full of five guys and I frowned in thought, yet mind was to drowsy to progress them. Eyes closed as I fell into oblivion of sleepiness, after doing the instructions that the flight attendant had told them.

A few hours I awoke and stretched my arms with a yawn escaping, deciding to turn on the TV in front of ne and watch some movies to pass the time. I was barely aware of my surroundings expect that I knew Evelyn was asleep next to me and I was barely listening to the movie. Iclicked tongue at the roof of my mouth and reached for a notebook as I started to write a story, simply for my own amusement and to pass the time. I turned the movie off and switched to my mp3 off as ‘Behind Bars’ sung into my ears and she quietly started humming to myself.

I feel something over me

And try to run away from the demons that haunted me

The key turns inside

No place to hide

I'm locked in no place, no place

I think I could be going crazy, going crazy oh oh

Feeling the walls come closer, bodies colder ohhhhhhh

Cos I'm behind bars

Cos I'm behind bars

I had managed to do several chapters of a story while listening to my mp3, completely oblivious to my surroundings as the hours seemed to fly by. Soon it was time for the plane to land and I quickly shook Evelyn awake, giving her a small smile pointing to tell her they had a few minutes till landing.

After the plane landed, we quickly got their luggage and started heading off the plane as I stumbled a few times; because I'm clumsy of course. I bumped into a few guys on the way down and quickly apologized but didn’t look up to see who it was. We were in a hurry to get their luggage and to head to the apartment so we could collapse, then wake up in the middle of the night due to jetlag; boy was I looking forward to that.

Once again there were screaming girls as we started leaving the airport looking for our ride until we found a man that looked to be in his mid-20s with a sign that had our names on it. I dragged Evelyn along and we both smiled at him.

“Hello! That’s us, are we heading off to the apartment? I really want to get away from these girls who seem to be screaming for no reason.” I spilled it out in a rush, clearly annoyance on my features.

Evelyn rested a hand on my shoulder to calm my nerves, “Yes may we leave now? I don’t wish to get trampled either by the girls if whoever they’re looking for comes out.”

The man nodded and led us away to a normal car as they placed our luggage in the car and climbed in, while trying not to let my eyes droop close. Once again I noticed a group of girls but they looked like they were surrounding a couple of guys, making me frown in wonderment and I lightly nudged Evelyn. “What is with all these girls? It’s giving me a headache; I can’t wait to just go to sleep.” I was grumpy from lack of sleep and planes weren’t comfortable.

“Celebrity or maybe a band maybe,  who knows now a days with how much celebrities do these days. Worry about it later ok? I just want to sleep.” Evelyn replied becoming a bit annoyed with her questions but I couldn’t help it, when I was tired Aki tended to ramble.

The drive wasn't very long, a few hours at most, and we  arrived at the apartment with our shoulders slumped in relief. We took their luggage from the car, with the help of the man, and decided to find out where our rooms were. Turned out, we were sleeping in the same room. Our beds were two queen sized mattresses on either side of the room, and I groaned happily and after throwing my luggage somewhere, Aki collasped onto the mattress as I faded into dreamland
