Wufei stood long after the others left and had a thoughtful expression on his face as he thought back to that time when Harry and he had bonded while the others were out for one reason or another.
Flashback
Wufei had been asked by the rest of the Gundam pilots to watch Harry while they were out either to go back to work or to spend time with their siblings, which Harry had not wanted to go to. Wufei had been cursing himself for being unable to find Harry who the rest had found to be extremely good at hiding when he did not want to be found. The last place he looked was outside in the garden and that was where he found Harry. Wufei observed him and found that he was sitting with the animals from the hospital. Wufei was going to go yell at him for going out by himself when he heard him start to sing

Wufei had thought he was hearing things but he was seeing it so he must be hearing. Before wufei could say anything Harry began with another song. So Wufei decided to wait for this song.

Wufei was stunned he remembered what Harry had been through and the second song fit him perfectly. Harry continued walking and said, "so Wufei what are you doing here? As for me I wanted some peace and quiet, which is funny because here I am singing." Wufei came forward and said, "I am here to watch you even though you really don't need to be watched." "Wufei you may think it strange for me to say but I'm happy we came here I don't have to worry about looking over my shoulder trying to protect people I know am not able to or wasn't able to. Of course you know that feeling after L5 was destroyed." Harry said while turning to Wufei. Wufei swallowed the lump that formed in his throat as he looked at Harry's piercing gaze. Wufei looked away and said, "Ah I know what you mean Harry unfortunately you are one of the first to really understand how I felt. I blamed myself and did attempt suicide but I failed and woke in the hospital. Then I was taken to be trained to be a Gundam pilot, I did attempt it a few more times but failed and I never told the other pilots about it." Harry looked to the sun in the sky and said, "I also attempted suicide and failed and like you I never told anyone." He gave a small laugh and said, "that's probably because it never came up and I always hid the scar's. We both know however that one of these days the others will find out so we must always be ready for it to happen."
Later that day the others would find Wufei and Harry in the library enjoying each other's company. It would also be a long while yet for them to figure out how they bonded.
