A Cursed Ninja

Chpt 4

(Y/N) POV

I walked next to the guy named Shikamaru as he held onto my cuffs. I looked down at how he held onto them, like he was ready for me to break free of them or something. "Uh Shikamaru is it? You don't have to hold onto my cuffs ya know?" I leaned over and whispered into his ear. I saw how his body tensed up and how his cheeks went to a shade of pink. He quickly let go of my cuffs and crossed his arms behind his head.

"I was just making sure you wouldn't run away or something," He mumbled. "But I surrendered?" I chuckled shaking my head. He just tensed up again and walked a little faster than me. Weird dude.

I spun on my heels and started walking backwards. I noticed how Naruto was walking with his eyes closed and his head tilted back. "Hey you, Naruto." I said while kicking a rock at him. He peeked one eye open at me and made a "hmm" sound. "I just wanted to say good job, you know with that whole kissing my forehead thing." His face quickly went extremely red. "No one's ever caught me off guard before, I was quite impressed by you." I gave him a smile, he started to breath really weird and played with his fingers.

"But just letting you know, if you ever do that again," I stopped walking making him bumped right into me, "I'll kill you." My voice was dark and my eyes pierced straight into his. I heard him gulp and watched how he froze. I couldn't help but start to laugh. "Oh my goodness you guys are so easy to mess with!" I held my stomach with my cuffed hands. Naruto's head hung low as he released a deep breath. He looked back up at me and I saw his cheeks still red. His eyes were staring at me with something I've never seen before. Made me feel...weird.

I turned back around and continued to walk. Why did he look at me like that? What does that look even mean? Before I could have another thought I felt something toss me up in the air. I didn't scream jut gasped as I landed onto something soft and fluffy. I sit up straddling the back of this dog? "Uh?" I spoke turning around to see Kiba grinning at me. "Didn't see that one coming now did ya?" He looked so proud of him self. "Well if you want to be technical it was this dog that caught me off guard, not you." I say with a bit of pitty in my voice. Crushed his whole proud moment.

He looked defeated and the dog under me started to bark chuckle. I leaned forward and gave him a good scratch behind the ears. He seemed to really enjoy that. "Akamaru! She's the prisoner! Don't be all chummy with her!" Kiba stomped his foot. I just started to laugh still scratching his precious dog.

Kiba's POV

We reached the Hokage's building. "This is (Y/N), we captured her during our mission." Shikamaru spoke to one of the Anbu ninja's stationed outside the building. (Y/N) scuffed hopping off of Akamaru. Shikamaru shot her a dirty stern look then continued to talk to the Anbu ninja.

(Y/N) walked over to me and smiled. She was pretty close making me hold my breath. Why am I so nervous around her? She's an enemy, and not to mention how she dominated me during our battle. But...I can't even lie, I like a woman who can take charge and beat me once in a while. "Thanks for letting me ride your pooch." She shot me a wink, causing my body to go weak in multiple places. before turning around and walking off with the Anbu ninja.

All three of us watched her walk up the stairs. I titled my head watching as her hips rocked side to side like they hypnotized me. Then out of no where I was knocked out of my thoughts by someone hitting my head hard. "Don't look at her like that!" Naruto yelled getting my face. "Why does it matter to you!" I lifted my sleeve ready to hit him. "Because- Because" He kept stumbling to get his words right. "Hah! You can't even get the words out of your mouth!" I rose my fist to hit him but we were pushed apart by Shikamaru.

"Can you two stop fighting over a girl who is clearly out of your league," He sighed. Naruto and I turned to look at him and we both shouted at the same time, "WHAT DID YOU SAY!" Shikamaru just looked up the stairs she walked up only a few seconds ago. "She's not in your league. She's an enemy, and now a prisoner." He sighed again but it sounded different than his usual sigh. "Well- I don't care! Kiba was the one staring at her like a creep checking her out going up those stairs!" Naruto spat. "Why do you care how he was staring at her?" Shikamaru glanced at me. Naruto's face got all red and he stormed off.

Naruto's POV

I marched off with my arms crossed and huffing. I don't know why I'm so angry but I am. Who does Kiba think he is staring at (Y/N) like that? That's so disrespectful and wrong, I would never do that.

"But you were staring the same way" My inner thoughts spoke to me. Ahhgg shut up! I smacked my head a couple times. I don't know why I was staring too! She's just so damn cute! And she has this attitude that makes me shiver with excitement. She has these amazing (E/C) eyes that make me want to swim in them! I felt my body start to go weak as I kept walking forward.

It was like I had heart shaped eyes at this moment thinking of her. She's just...wow. I stopped walking and kicked a rock. Why did she have to be someone bad then? I kicked another rock and then, "OW! Naruto you fool!" I looked ahead and saw Sakura running after me. "Oh! Hey there Sakura, sorry for-" Before I could finish Sakura punched me square in the jaw. "What do you think you're doing huh!!" She screamed at me.

I reached up and rubbed the back of my neck. "Well you see I was kind of," I felt my face get red as I started to push my two fingers together. Then Sakura cut me off by flipping her short hair off her shoulder and turned back to look at Ino. "Hmph see Ino, I make Naruto distracted still and I wasn't even near him this time." I tilted my head in confusion. "Um I was actually thinking about (Y/N). She's this girl we just captured from our mission." I said, feeling the hearts going back to my eyes.

Sakura turned to face me again and hit me once more. "Who?!"

Shikamaru's POV

I walked away from the Hokage's building with my hands stuffed into my pockets. Hm. Why can't I get this girl out of my head? Why does she seem so different than all these other obnoxious girls? I mean, she's still obnoxious but in a good way. She has this way about her that makes me want to smile, and a girl has never made me feel like that.


"Hey Choji," I wave at my food loving friend. "Hey there Shikamaru! How was the mission?" He continued to stuff his face as I took a seat next to him under the tree. "Fine, we captured someone." He nodded his head, clearly not interested. I stifled a laugh, and this is why he's my best friend. "Can I ask your advice about something Choji?" I leaned my head back, closing my eyes. "Wow you advice from me? Must be something serious." He chuckled.

"Do you ever have a feeling to do something, even though it's a bad thing?" I felt Choji grab my collar. "You better not be trying to go rouge on me Shikamaru!" I push his chip coated fingers off me and laugh. "Calm down, it's about a girl." I couldn't help but smile at the thought of (Y/N). Choji's face lit up with glee. "A GIRL?" He shouted.

This is going to be such a  drag, he's going to talk all about this and ugh. I groan out loud. "Who is she? Is she a ninja?" He perked up, wow I've never seen him ignore his food. My eyes went wide with shock at that sight. "Yeah I guess she's new, and yeah she's also a ninja, but..." I trailed off thinking about how (Y/N) is the one we captured. She's pretty much our enemy. She even fought us and she was incredible. She has the great three Dojutsu! She's- She's- "Shikamaru!" Choji snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Wow she must be something wonderful to make you so damn distracted." I smiled at his words, yeah she really was.

Kiba's POV

That stupid Naruto. Making me all baffled about why I was staring at (Y/N) the way I was. I crossed my arms deeper into my chest huffing. Why does he care anyway! Not like she'd ever go for him! Shikamaru's wrong, she's not out of my league! I could totally get her!

I stopped walking and Akamaru nudged me. I looked down at him and he gave me a sad look and whined. He knew. He can tell when I'm upset. I don't know why I like her, but I really do. She's a prisoner, so that means she's my enemy. And Shikamaru's right, she's way out of my league. I couldn't even hit her once during out battle.

I sighed and continued to walk, making my way to the spot Shino's always at. And to no surprise I saw him in between the trees training with his bugs. They were swirling around him making some type of shield I don't really know, can't focus enough to care.

"Kiba," Shino said acknowledging me. I just nodded and shrunk down to the ground. I crossed my legs and put my chin in my hand. Akamaru snuggled up beside me and looked up at me. "Not that I care, everything alright?" Shino said standing in front of me. I smirked, he did care. "It's nothing man, just, met someone today who left...and imprint on me." I said with my gaze drifting to the side. Shino laughed- wait he laughed?? I looked up at him and balled my fist. "What's so funny!"

"It's a girl isn't it?" He sat down in front of me. "H-How did you know?!" My jaw dropped. "Well, from my observation, you're palms are sweaty and your face is very flushed. Just seems like you either have feelings toward someone or you're feeling sick." He said in a stuck up tone. "Well the feel exactly the same." I mumbled to myself.

"Who is she?" He asked standing back up. "Someone I'm sure I don't belong with."
