3 days later

Hoseok no longer listen to music, he was too afraid to, and so his life was ultimately silent. For the past three days, he had done nothing but sleep and eat, his mind was always far, far, far away from this place he called home; the place he wanted to call home. Namjoon had visited, Hoseok didn't remember when he did, he didn't say much, he had only asked how Hoseok was and mumbled a quick pep-talk. Before he disappeared into the hot summer air, he had reached into his back pocket and took out a small envelope, its edges crumpled.

He had given it to Hoseok with no comment and smiled before running off. Hoseok couldn't help but notice that he hadn't seen Namjoon in so long, in fact, he hadn't seen anyone from school in so long. After shutting the door, he had walked back up the stairs and into his room; a room that was just as messy as his mind.

He had placed the envelope on his bed and stared out the window, staring at the cars rattling past, the bright sunlight blinded him, but he couldn't help but see the beauty of summer. Hoseok then became curious, he walked towards the small envelope and had struggled to open it, he ripped the envelope open only for its contents to fall to the floor.

Hoseok gasped when he saw what it was. His brows furrowed and his eyes became glassy. Hoseok slowly sat down on the floor, in front of contents of the envelope and tenderly picked it up.

In his hands was the small photo strip that he had taken with Taehyung on their fist date, inside the photo booth, he turned it over to see a small inscription. Tears that Hoseok had not known he held flowed down his cheeks, staining his shirt.

'Maybe in another life, another world, another universe, huh?'
