Lauryn POV

"Myah go ask grandma is she hungry." I told her placing the food on the dinner table

"Otaay." She responded running down the hall

I can't wait until Travis gets home. I'm so sore , i just want to sleep. I've been at work since 3 this morning and had to come home , clean up then cook

"Nanna said she isn't hungry." Ta'myah told me sitting at the table

"Was she laying down ?" I asked

"Yes ." She answered "Mommy .. what's wrong with Nanna? When i went there she was coughing up blood but she said she was just hot so i cut her fan on."

I couldn't find the right words to tell my 3 year old daughter about the situation

"She is just sick , baby. Everything will be okay" I choked

I turned my head wiping my tears before looking back in her direction

We sat at the table talking and eating

"Yes huh!" She giggled "I'll buy you and daddy a big house and i'll design my own wedding dress and mommy you'll always be the first one to wear all my designs"

"What about when i get old ?" I asked smiling at her

"I'll find someone young and not wrinkled" She said shrugging her shoulders

"What " I laughed

"I'm playing mommy. You'll still be pretty just older then you are now."

I smiled putting the plates in the dishwasher

"I love you baby girl."

"I love you to mommy. Goodnight."

She ran upstairs to her room as i went to go check on my mom

"Mom ... are you okay ?" I asked

She didn't respond so i turned the light on

"Momma ?"

"Yes baby ?" She said waking up

"Have you taken your medicine ?"

"Yes ." She said showing me the empty packet

"Okay cut your machine on if your going to sleep."

I handed her her face mask and kissing her forehead

"I love you momma"

"I love you to sweety"

I cut off her light walking into the kitchen sitting at the bar table

".... I can't lose her ... please don't take my mother away from me. She raised me up to be strong but this is something i can't take. Losing her is like losing a part of me" I cried

"Baby it's gonna be okay. Everything is in the Lord's hand." Travis voice soothed behind me

"I can't do this by myself."

"Your not. I'm here I've always been here for you , i'm not leaving you. We will help your mom but nobody can do more then God can. Baby just pray"

He wrapped his arms around me. "Let's go upstairs. I'll run you a bubble bath and we can relax in it together."

I smiled alittle

"I love making you smile when your down. Imma always be there for you baby. Remember that" He said kissing my forehead
