You remained there for a while, unmoving.
You rubbed your eyes and looked up at Momo.
"Won't you get scolded if you don't go back?" you asked, worried that he might get in trouble.
"Well, actually, I don't really belong to aogiri tree anymore"
Your breathing stopped.
"What?! What happened?" you asked, shocked
"Let's just say that we had a few disagreements and I ended up leaving"
Your mind was blank.
What would happen next? Would you go back to where you were before? Would you go separate ways again?
If you tried to run away, the CCG would find you and aogiri tree would have Momo right under his watch. And even if you ran away, would things with Momo be the same? Did he still want you in his life as much as you wanted him to be part of yours again?
Momo appeared to catch a glimpse of your expression and out of the blue, as if he had read your mind, he said:
"So where do we go now?"
