chapter 16 keagan's requiem

Keagan had just woken up
He had sleep and sawdust in his eyes and was very restless
He couldnt stop thinking about what the demoness had told him.

soundly he heard a shout from downstairs
"Master Keagan!! A letter came for you"
"Thanks Selene" he said back
He quickly went downstairs to see what it was all about.

(Good thing I hired a new maid too keep all this work occupied)
He thought
She was indeed a 'new' maid but originally she was just going to be temporary
He had hired her over the past 2 weeks to help out with the chores in the huge mansion

As keagan came down the stairs. he saw Selene holding a letter with red ink in it
"Here you go master" she winked at him
"Uh okay, you dont have to call me master you know.. " he wasnt use to her quirks quite yet
"I insist please master" Selene said

Keagan loomed down at the letter

The letter was written in yellow paper which keagan thought was odd

But it was at the top is what really caught his eye
" From Maxy tobaye"
(Thats mom!!")
His mother hadnt spoken to him in over 5 years
And she had lived london to top it off
"What could she possibly want?" Keagan said
"It cant be good master keagan, especially if she sent a letter..."
"What thats supposed to mean?"
"She couldve easily sent you a digital response" sabina addee

"Hmm you might be right, but lets read it first"

It had read:
{Dear keagan
Im sorry that have I havent talked to you or much less been in your life for the past 5 years. But I want to reconnect with you....... If its nit too much of a hassle, I want to meet you in london}
"Huh very short and to the point, thats just like Mom"
Kegan walked to the family room with sabina following him

"What do you think sabina? Should I go?"
"Do what your heart says, master"
Keagan's destiny awaited him
