Ever since you were little your mother had always told you magical stories about Soulmates. She used to go on and on about how she met hers, who got now know as your father.

"Don't worry, one day you'll find your Soulmate sweetie. These words on your wrist aren't there for nothing" she'd say. You looked down at your wrist, written in neat handwriting it read "I'll see you later." You weren't exactly sure what it meant, and knowing your luck, it was probably going to be hard as hell to figure out.

You looked up at the ancient library. You came here almost every week, but today you only had one book in mind. You wanted the famous play, Hamlet, written my Shakespeare. You pushed open the heavy wooden doors, smelling the odd scent of the books. They had a slight hint of vanilla, and you absolutely adored it. You walked past the front desk, greeting the old librarian. You knew this library front and back, so you already had an idea where the book would be. Walking down one idle, you looked through the books labeled 'Tragedy'. There was a man a few feet away from you, he was definitely over six feet tall and cute as all hell. His long brown hair, almost shoulder length, fell into his face as he searched, he seemed to be slowly headed towards your direction. Suddenly a book caught your attention as you scanned through the huge selection. There it was, and it looked like it was the only copy. You quickly went to reach for it, not noticing that the moose of a man beside you was eyeing it as well. Both of your hands brushed together, the two of you had grabbed the book at the same time.  You immediately dropped the book, letting it fall to the ground.

"Oh! I'm sorry I-I didn't realize you wanted the book too I-" you spoke nervously, stuttering almost every word that poured out of your mouth.

"No worries." The man picked up the book. "You can take it." He held the book out to you with a small grin on his face.

"Are you sure? I don't want to make you wait to read it." Your cheeks flushed red, you wanted to run, yet your legs didn't move.

"Yea, you seem pretty eager to read it anyway." He let out a small laugh, offering you the book again.

"Thanks...I've been waiting months for this book." You gingerly grabbed the book from his hand, smiling knowing you finally had it.

"I'm Sam by the way." He gave you a friendly smile.

"I'm Y/N." you returned the smile as you studied Sam's features. He had beautiful hazel eyes and a bit of stubble on his face.

"So..." Sam said, breaking the silence. "Shakespeare huh?" He scratched the back of his neck.

"Yea! I've been reading a whole bunch of his plays." The two of you walked to one of the tables and sat down.

"I can't even read Shakespeare in front of my brother, he tries to make jokes about adding it by adding 'Eth', 'Thou' and 'Art' into every sentence. He chuckled.

"Thy broth'r maketh the most wondrous jokes!" You tried to use some sort of accent, but it failed miserably, earning a laugh from Sam. You were shushed by two other women, who were clearly trying to read. This just made you and Sam laugh more. He stood up and dragged you towards another isle that was currently empty for the two of you to sit down.

You both talked for hours, not caring how loud you were. It turns out that Sam is actually a Hunter. He hunts with his brother, Dean, all the time. Of course he expected you to get freaked out, but you sure turned the tables on him when you told him you used to hunt. Now you mostly just read up on the lore. You were more of a research kind of girl.

Before you knew it, the library was closing. You and Sam rushed towards the front desk to check out the book.

"You have a nice evening!" The woman said.

"Thanks, you too!" You walked out of the library with Sam.

"Well...I think I'm gonna head home.." you smiled shyly.

"Why don't I walk you home?" Sam offered. "Do you live far?"

"Yea that'd be nice! I just live down the street." You locked arms with Sam and dragged him down the sidewalk towards your house. You made small talk with him until you arrived at your door step. Never had you met someone you connected to quickly with, it was all so strange to you.

"It was nice meeting you Sam." You looked down at the ground.

"Hey Y/N, w-would you mind if I-uh got your number?" Sam fiddled with his shirt as he spoke.

"Yea! Sure." You pulled out your phone, smiling. You put your number into his phone, chuckling slightly, you said your goodbyes. You waved at Sam and walked into your house.

Looking at your wrist you plopped onto your bed, staring blankly at the ceiling. You had finally found your Soulmate, and his name is Sam Winchester.
