I was in town buying stuff to bring back at the guild. It has been a couple weeks since our encounter with Laxus, and the building.
I strolled down the river bed which led to the store. I looked at my reflection, looking right back at me. Then I lost my balance.
"Whoa! Watch where you are going." Said a familiar voice.
"Laxus?" I say as I turned to see him.
"Um... thank you very much." I say getting out of his embrace, blushing like crazy.
"No problem, Mira. I do I it for you anytime." Laxus says casually, making me blush harder.
"Uh.... well what I mean is... I'd do anything for a friend." Laxus says.
My blushing face, now is face full of disappointment.

"No problem, Mira. I do it for you anytime." I say and see her blushing.
Wait... what if she doesn't like me, and takes it the wrong way.
"Uh.... well what I mean is... I'd do anything for a friend." I say stuttering a bit.
Then I see a wash of disappointment on Mirajane's face.
"Well, let me help with your shopping." I say nicely.
"Oh... okay." Mira says with her usual smile.

"Well.. I guess it's time to say goodbye then." I say forcing a smile on my face.
"Yeah, see you soon." Laxus says walking towards the other direction.
I just looked at him going away from me again. Tears started to overtake, and I began crying.
"Stupid! I like you, you idiot! I don't care if you don't like me in that way... but.... but-" I got cut off by Laxus hugging me.
"I like you, too, Mira." Laxus says, and I hug him back.
"You dummy, why wait long." I say still hugging him with tears in my eyes.
"Because I was afraid you didn't like me in that way. But, when you confirmed it, I was really happy." Laxus says, making me smile through my tears.

"Wow. Who knew Mira was going to say it first." Levy-chan says whispering besides me.
"I know, might as well make a memory of this." I say whispering taking a camera out.

"Oh shoot! The flash was on. Run!" I quietly yell.
And we dash off.

"What was that?" Laxus asks.
"I guess this is what happens when I take pictures of them like this." I say laughing a bit.
"Your right, Mira, time to have a little punishment." Laxus says grinning a bit.
We close our distance between each other, and touch lips gently, while the sun sets in the background. I think this is the best day of my life.
