Clary's POV

I quickly got a Million out of my stomach belt and turned my body so I was facing the wall now.

"1438," I yelled, and the Million twisted in my hands. Blades came out of the ends and I broke it. I was now holding two daggers. I did it so fast that my old life wouldn't see it.

Just before I smashed into the wall I lifted my arms and the daggers sunk into the thick material of the wall. Only the handles were sticking out now and I just hung there for a few moments, my face almost touching the wall.

"That wasn't very kind," I yelled to Cain, with my head to the wall. I didn't care that the others could understand us.

"I never claimed to be," Cain yelled back, laughing his ass off. I heard him saying the same numbers as I did and two daggers appeared in a flash just under my feet. I let go of the daggers my hands were holding and let my feet touch the daggers under them.

I turned around and looked and at Cain. "Fuck you, Cain," I yelled, while raising my middle finger to him.

He just laughed and got another Million out of one of his belts.

"Don't you dare," I said.

He ignored me and made daggers of the Million. He threw them to me, one by one, and the first almost hit my ear, the second almost hit my hand.

"Stop it, idiot, just come up here," I said, rolling my eyes behind the sunglasses and hood.

He laughed and looked at Rick, who nodded. They were going to make a show of it, to intimidate the others, obviously.

Cain stepped a few meters back, so he was about twenty meters away from the wall I was standing against. I was standing more than eleven meters high.

The wall belonged to a enormous building behind it, to protect it or something. It stood next to a square. Normal houses were standing on the other sides. We were going to be in the news, I thought.

We always set pieces on things in the night, every night. First of all, we just needed about an hour sleep per day, second, we were quite famous in the mundane world. Nobody knew us, nobody had ever seen us. The mundanes called us shadows, which was a pretty good name for us. The shadow hunter probably never heard of us, because they were to selfish and arrogant to care about something else than themselves.

Cain began to run to the wall. When he was fifteen meters away from it, he made a handstand, and landed after perfectly on his feet. He had still much speed so there were a few following and five meters before he had reached the wall he jumped in the air and made a few flips.

Rick grabbed three Millions and made them daggers. Then he threw them into the wall. Right after that Cain landed softly, light as a feather, on the handles.

I rolled my eyes and tried to hide my smirk. "Was that really necessary?"

"Yes, it was," he answered, like I was being stupid.

"You only scared them," I said, now smirking.

"Maybe I wanted to." Cain made a weird face to me and I laughed, he followed right after.

I almost fell of my place when first two daggers appeared next to me, and then Rick was standing there.

"Guys, you're ruining the wall by making all those holes in it," I said, and fake pouted.

"You began," Noah said childish, who just came next to Cain.

I looked down and saw that only Jack, Dylan and Tobias were still standing there. A little away from the others, who looked pretty scared.
