Road to Forever

Six souls with different history
Distinct personality,
Had various thoughts and ideas
That met and became one

We started as stranger
Became classmates,
To friends and buddies
Now were godmothers.

We fought many times,
Had misunderstandings
Scream at each other
And had a crush with the same guy.

We have been through
A lot of tough times.
Patted each other,
And comfort the broken ones.

We had our time being free
And been matured together,
Conquered various challenges
And fought many battles.

Happiness and sadness
When all of us graduated.
The Book ends,
And another series to open.

We may not see each other often,
And Seldom communicate.
Still, we treasure each other
And love one another.

Now, all of us have different jobs,
Pursue divergent careers
But we still make sure
To met and talk.

We may not often say
Or we even did not
I know, we love each other
And I'm forever thankful for that.

As we met today,
I looked at everyone
We are now different and also the same,
More brave and matured.

Back then,
Conversations full of chick flick stories
Now, we talked about
Stocks, business and insurances.

One of us became a mother,
Others are single,
And some have a happy relationship
Ironically were just the same.

As I look back at our past
I immediately smiled
This friendship will never end.
We are a lifetime buddies.

Six years of friendship wasn't enough
We still have more years to come,
A long road to lead,
And a long journey to ride.
