The Secret Life Of Cordila Young

Chapter ten

As we walked to the auditorium I saw Ms. Streams and Headmistress Moore talking. They obviously weren't talking to each other , it seems like they were talking to someone else . I couldn't see who it was.
      " Hey Cordy, over here" Monica waved over to her
          "Guess I'll see you later" Damon said
          "Okay" Cordila said as he walks away
I walked over to Monica and ty I rest of the gang. More students continued to pour into the  auditorium. After the last student entered the doors closed and the lights went out and a single spotlight shine down in the middle of the floor.
A girl with long curly chocolate brown hair  walked into the spotlight wearing a black and purple cocktail dress.
She raise both her arms , as six other spotlights shined down, showing other girls wearing the same uniform.
As music started  to play the lights came back on and  they began their routine. With each flip the crowd appaulled. It wasn't until I saw some of the girl   fly and flipped in the air, that I joined in with everyone else.
Once they were done, Headmistress Moore came up to the podium. I don't know what it is about her , something doesn't feel right. It's probably because  I am not use to having a Headmistress.
            "Good afternoon, Mystic. Wasn't that a wonderful performance from the "Muses" let's give them another round of applause" Headmistress Moore said applauding with everyone
       "I'm sorry , who" Cordila asked whisping to Monica
           " Basically our cheer/ spirit/ dance team. The people we just saw "Monica said whispering
         "Well on that positive note , I am sorry to follow it up by saying that it has come to my attention that our teacher and aulmin Ms. Storms has been kidnapped. Traces of dark magic was found in her room. I have personally contracted the authorities and I promise all of you that you, she will be found and returned back to us"Headmistress Moore said
  
      "Something about this doesn't seem right" Monica said softly
          "It's fine Mon, they are going to find her" Harrison said softly to Monica.

Monica was right something about this doesn't seem right, as the crowd began to murmur from he news the Headmistress told everyone.
               "Okay , okay settle down everyone" Headmistress Moore said into the microphone.

      "How could this happen the school is protected, isn't it?" Monica said standing up
The auditorium quickly quiet down, wanting to hear if there school was still safe. To be honest I wanted to hear the answer to the question.
             "If anyone have questions please come to my office after dismissal" Headmistress Moore said
         "Why wait till then, just tell us, is the school still safe, cause if it is then how did this happen? We as students diserve to know" Monica said
The auditorium cheered and clapped in agreement with Monica.
           "The school is still safe, and we still don't know how this could of happen. When Ms. Storms come back we can ask her how they were able to take her" the Headmistress Moore said
Monica sat back down still questioning herself how this could of happened. Knowing her I know she is not going to let this go not until she gets the whole truth out.
The Headmistress dismissed everyone from auditorium. Everyone kept talking about  the news of this missing teacher. Part of me can't help but wonder is the teacher the mysterious woman in white, even though I want to believe that, part of me didn't.
After the pep rally it was time for lunch, finding the cafeteria was easy, all I had to do was follow the crowd of hungry kids.

The cafeteria looks like a dinning Hall of a castle, completed with chandeliers and large grand poraits on the wall.

I didn't know what to expect at lunchtime​ at the school for the magically gifted. I went through the line and I saw nothing, just a bunch of pots and steam.
               "So what'll it be" the lunch lady asked
               "I don't see anything" Cordila said
The line behind me began to laugh like I just said the funniest joke.
                 "You must be new, just tell her what you want and it will appear" the girl in line said
                "Just like that" Cordila said in disbelief
            "Yeah and you might want to hurry, I would not want to be standing in between a werewolf  and food when they're hungry" the girl said
               "Okay, a  slice of bacon pizza with the large slices of pepperoni"  Cordila said
And just like that, it appeared on my tray.
Once I got through the line I stood there trying to find a table
                     "Let me guess first day here and you have no idea where to sit" the girl said
              "Yeah, this is definitely not like my old school, I'm Cordila and thanks for helping me back there" Cordila said
         "It's no problem, I'm Annabelle" Annabelle said
Annabelle had long pitch black hair and green eyes. She seems very nice.
             "Nice to meet you"Cordila said
       "Same here, you can sit with me if you want" Annabelle said
