Tick, tock, tick, tock,
The days pass by as she stares at the clock.
Alarm sounds at 7 and work starts at 9,
she slaves the day away, right up until 5.
After work she goes home and makes herself tea.
She's got a date with her book until the sun leaves.
Once the sun sets she goes back inside,
washes her face, bids the day goodbye.
Tomorrow she'll wake up and start over again;
She's the Clockwork Princess, AM through PM.
