Ava's POV
My head's throbbing woke me. I blink the sleep from my eyes. I look around. railroad tracks? I sit up slightly. my chest burns. I stand slowly, using a sign to help support me. "terminus, those who arrive survive." terminus is only a days walk from here. "Ava?" a voice asks from behind me. "Carl." I cry limping towards him. I wrap him in a tight hug. the throbbing worsens but I refuse to let that stop me. "where's Rick?" I ask. "Him and Michonne will be here in a minute." he says helping me stand.
Rick and Michonne walk around the corner and stop in their tracks. "A-ava?" Rick asks. I nod my head. he walks over to me. "Are you okay? is the baby okay? Where were you?" he asks quickly. "I think so, yes and I was with Tyreese and Carol, until lizzie stabbed me and I woke up here." I answer. Rick places his hand on my stomach and almost instantly the baby starts kicking.
Rick pulls me into a hug and kisses my forehead. Carl and Michonne start walking a little bit ahead. "I missed you so much." I say quietly. " we missed you too." Rick says helping me walk.
