Wow you know you look so perfect tonight,

Draped in affection, you're a wonderful sight,

I've got to make a move but make sure its right,

We ended up awake until the sky got light,

Looking back at you is such an awful habit,

The only time I had to go and reach out and grab it,

The only time I felt drawn like a magnet,

But now we both apart scattered across the planet,

Why's it always so easy to write for you?

You're just the perfect woman that ain't nothing new,

In the eye of the beholder that's what love can do,

The heart deceives the eyes into what could be true,

But is there really anyone else out there?

All the others in my eyes just don't compare,

Beholder fixes gaze on perfections stare,

A love so rare creates creative flair, yeah..

Tinted rose glasses on time that passes,

Make a young man dare to take his chances,

Regret wasting time at the back of the classes,

All his ideas lost as time advances,

You're perfect but you were never really ever enough,

Beholder takes the bait and never read your bluff,

Stories about you come from off the cuff,

In awe of how you always had things so tough,

Lost from my gaze now I misbehave,

Will there ever be an end to this crazy phase?

Holding out for hope to escape the maze,

Looking for your picture through misty haze.

Who'd have thought that all your beauty would have been my curse,

Now I've seen all there is in the universe,

Lost in my mind is the writer confined,

Who writes all day about how you're designed,

Beholding your beauty has driven me blind,

I disappear in darkness as I'm left behind.
