It was our last summer together, these were our last moments before we go off to college. I was staying in the area, but she got accepted to a fancy university up north, out of state.

I had driven my truck up on the hill by the field, we both laid on the truck bed watching the stars. It was comfy back here, she had brought out her blanket and pillows, all pink of course, 'cus that was her color.

The radio was playing in the car and the music reached us through the opened back window. We had been holding each other when her favorite song came in, i know because she'd always play it during long car rides. She instantly brightens up at the beat of her song. She starts dancing and bobbing her head back and forth to the rhythm. I smile and laugh at how cute she is, she sees me, starts to laugh as well. I treasure moments like these, no worries about the future or anything.

Now when I hear her song playing on the radio I max out the volume and just hear her voice at the back of my mind, telling me to play it again.
