XIV.

Ethan's POV:

"Dolan, can you come here?" Bryce asked as I walked out of Ashlynn's bedroom. I have spent the entire day here so far and I knew he was starting to get suspicious as to why I haven't left yet.

"Yeah, man." I nodded and walked over to him.

"I talked to your brother." He said, not elaborating as to what he talked to Grayson about.

"About?" I asked, leaning against the door frame.

"I asked him about you and Ashlynn. He said that you and Ashlynn are official. Is he lying to me?" He asked, stepping closer to me.

"Oh, you know how Grayson can be..." I trailed off. I wasn't sure if Ashlynn wanted him to know about it. I told Gray this morning and he was beyond ecstatic.

"Don't you dare lie to me, Dolan." He threatened as he got right into my face.

"Alright, bro. Yes, we are but, you know I would never do anything. I'd kill for her." I said, sighing but, he was still on edge.

"Does Drew know?" He asked, raising his eyebrows.

"I think you and Grayson are the only ones. I didn't want to say anything, I wanted Ashlynn to tell you guys." I explained.

"What about Axel?" He asked.

"What about him?"

"Don't play dumb. Has she told him?" He asked.

"I don't know." I said then, heard Ashlynn's door creak open.

"What's going on out here?" She asked, walking across the hall to us.

"I heard about you two." Bryce said, fixing his gaze to Ashlynn.

"Bryce, I was gonna tell you later." She sighed.

"Why didn't you tell me when I got home? I knew you guys had a thing going but, I thought you would have told me before anyone else. I hate that I had to find out through one of my friends." He said, visibly becoming angrier.

"Well, I find out about your girlfriends when you wake me up at two in the morning by having sex, being super loud." She said, raising her voice a little but, then getting quiet once she realized that she was making him even more angry.

"We're different. I don't have to tell you about my girlfriends. You have to tell me about boyfriends, though." He said, crossing his arms over his chest.

Umm, bitch, what the fuck?

"That makes no sense." She whispered, shaking her head at him.

"I can't fucking hear you when you whisper like that. Speak up for once in your damn life." He yelled.

"Leave her alone." I stepped in, noticing how upset that made Ashlynn.

"Stay out of this." Bryce warned, as he got closer to me.

"Don't touch him." Ashlynn said to Bryce but, her voice was still failing her.

"Are you going to fucking stop me?" He yelled, getting in her face.

I heard Drew running up the steps as Bryce continued to yell in Ashlynn's face. It was killing me that I couldn't do anything to stop him. He would never listen to me but, Drew was different. He was much stronger and had a lot more power than Bryce.

Drew grabbed Bryce by the collar and shoved him against the wall, Bryce's feet dangling as his brother pinned him with only one hand. Ashlynn immediately grabbed onto my forearm and I pulled her into my side.

"I'll be damned if I ever catch you treating our sister like that again." Drew yelled, almost twice as loud as Bryce had been.

"She's the one with the boyfriend she didn't tell us about." Bryce choked out.

"It hasn't even been a whole day." Ashlynn said quietly.

"If you ever pull some shit like this again, I'll gut you like a fish. You understand?" Drew warned, tightening his grip on Bryce.

"Drew-" Bryce began.

"I said do you understand?" Drew yelled loudly, his voice booming throughout the entire house. I'm sure the neighbors heard that one.

"Yes." Bryce sighed and Drew let him go.

"I'm not done with you two." Bryce said, walking towards his room.

"I'll fuck you up, Bryce." Drew warned, going back downstairs.

Then, Ashlynn and I were left. We went back into her bedroom. I sighed as I shut the door behind us. That was way too stressful.

"I'm sorry." I apologized, leaning against the shut door.

"It's okay." She nodded, kissing my cheek.

"Hey, you're my girl now, you can just kiss me." I chuckled, pulling her against me.

"I guess you're right." She smiled and kissed me.

Man, I could really get used to her kisses.
