Not so little anymore

Confession time

I got a lot of amazing feed back on my last chapter! Thank you guys so much. Here's chapter 13!

All that could be heard was Maya's sniffles as she finally started to calm down. She way laying in Simons arms on his bed as he comforted her still not knowing what happened. Finally after a few minutes of silence Simon spoke up making Maya take her head out from his chest.

"You want to tell me what happened?" Simon asked as he lied on his back with Maya on top of him.

"Not really. Do you think you could just let it go?" Maya asked as she tilted her head up to look at him. Simon looked down at her like she was crazy.

"Yeah, you show up at my dorm room, crying your eyes out and I'm so going to let what ever happened go." Simon said sarcastically rolling his eyes. Maya sighed and laid her head back on his chest. Silence fell on them once again as Maya didn't know what to say. Simon wanted to know the truth but she didn't want to bring it back up. Finally deciding to give him an explanation thinking she owed him that much, Maya sat up off of Simon and sat up on the pillows beside him.

"Josh basically told me he still had feelings for me." Maya stated looking down at her hands and playing with her fingers.

"Already?" Simon gasped as he sat up beside her staring at her shocked. Maya gave him a confused look.

"What do you mean already?" Simon rolled his eyes.

"I mean, I knew he would eventually tell you but I didn't think that he would do it so soon." Simon smirked as he nodded his head back and forth. Maya scoffed and shook her head.

"You men and your inability to listen! Do you not realize what that means." Maya snapped at Simon annoyed. Simon shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't see what the big deal is. You still like him, he admitted he still likes you. Now you two can run off into the sunset happily and not look back." Simon explained doing some type of weird hand motions. Maya shook her head and rolled her eyes.

"Except for one thing genius. Adrianna." Maya stated simply watching Simons face scrunch up in confusion.

"He didn't break up with her?" Maya shook her head. Suddenly she watched Simons face go from confusion to anger in a matter of seconds. "Well that's a douche bag move. And he judges me for what I did to girls when I was a freshman when he's doing it to you while he's a senior." Simon ran a hand through his hair as he shook his head and then looked back at Maya.

"Boy, you're just full of surprises aren't ya." Maya teased making Simon smile a little.

"I'm sorry Blondie. He should have never acted that way towards you. On the behalf of men all around the world I would like to apologize for our behavior." Simon said rolling his eyes at the thought of Josh. Maya smiled and laid her head down on his shoulder.

"It's okay. At least not every guy is bad." Maya smiled as Simon laid his head down on top of hers. "Now. Just how good are you at math?"

Josh let out a frustrated sigh as he flopped down on his bed and closed his eyes. He couldn't believe what he had just done. He had just realized that he wasn't over Maya and he goes out and blurts it out to her like its no big deal. He screwed up and he knew it.

"What's wrong with you?" Andrew asked as he came through the door and sat down at his desk. Josh sighed and ran his hands over his face.

"I told Maya that I wasn't over her." Josh said as he laid his hands back down at his sides. Andrew slammed his book down and swung his head over at Josh.

"Now why would you go and do a crewel thing like that! Maya was already having an enough hard time getting over you before Josh and now you go and do this just because you don't want her to be with somebody else!" Andrew yelled at him making Josh annoyed.

"I wasn't doing it to keep her from dating Walkers' I wouldn't do that." Josh sighed. "I did it because it's the truth." Josh whispers barley enough for Andrew to hear him. Suddenly Andrews face grew into a huge smile and he threw his hands together and clapped one big time before jumping out of the chair scarring Josh a little.

"May man!" He exclaimed as he jumped on the bed beside Josh. "When did you realize this?" He asked excitedly. Josh sighed and sat up.

"Yesterday at the party when I saw her with Simon. I mean I knew they were together I just didn't know they were together." Josh stated as he laid his head back on the head board.

"They Aren't. At least I didn't think." Andrew said. Josh quickly shook his head.

"I don't know if they are. But they were holding hands, standing really close together. He towered over her like he was protecting her." Josh said sadly. "That's when I realized that, I still like Maya." Josh said as he rubbed his face with his hands.

"So you're going to break up with Adrianna and go after Maya, right?" Andrew asked. Josh looked at Andrew and then at the ground with a sad look on his face. "Right." Andrew said again with a lot more force behind his voice. Josh shook his head.

"I don't know. Maya's reaction wasn't what I really expected. It was almost like she didn't want me to have feelings for her anymore."

"Well can you blame her? Josh you put that girl through a load of heartbreak when you broke off your someday to be with someone like Adrianna. She's probably afraid of getting hurt again."

"Her reaction wasn't at all what I thought it would be." Andrew scoffed.

"Well what did you expect. For her to jump out of her seat and run into your arms like a little school girl?"

"She use too."

"Yeah. Back when she was in middle school. Wake up Josh the girl is in college now. She is literally living in a building right across from us. She isn't that little kid that adored you all the time. She is now a young woman who is trying to get over someone who broke her heart. You told her you still liked her but didn't act on it. That probably hurt more than anything you've done to her so far. She grew up Josh, it's about time you did too." Josh clenched his jaw at Andrew. He knew he was right he just didn't want to admit it.

"I'm gonna go take a shower." Josh stated as Andrew shook his head.

"Yeah why don't you try and find your balls while you're in there." Josh glared at Andrew as he walked out the door.
