Surprisingly, I felt a strong urge to trust Nick. He seemed scared, which oddly enough, I think we all were. Clementine hadn't said a word to either me or Nick in quite awhile. Though soon enough, we were near the woods.

"I need you to tell me what you're signature purpose is. Now." I asked Nick.
He didn't answer, just started chuckling. It kinda freaked me out if I'm being honest with myself, but I've seen worse.

"Tell me what the hell it means!" Clementine pulled her pistol on him.
"Trust me, hahaha you'll know soon enough.."
She gave him a dirty and cruel look. Cruel enough for anyone to feel true fright.

"Come on Clem, forget him. We need to focus on getting AJ back." I said.
Glaring at Nick still, she agreed.

I guess we assumed he'd stay put or try and leave, but we didn't care. We were just worried about finding AJ. I didn't spend much time around him, but when he would see me he'd smile. That smile was amazing. I longed to see it again.

We searched for an hour or so until we saw lights from a distance. As we sneaked closer, we heard.. crying? Crying! It sure sounded like AJ. We didn't need to figure out their "signature" shit. We just needed to get AJ and make it out safe.

There were tents around an area. They were eating dinner. Some kind of meat.

"Deer?" Clem suggested questioningly. I shrugged.
"Doesn't matter. Wait.. I see AJ! He's in a little crib by that tent over there."
Clementine looked confused. "Why would they have a crib and everything? Not even I had one.. This is strange."
I nodded. "We just need to get him. You be on lookout. I'll sneak and grab him quickly. Alright?"
"Sounds good."

I slowly creeped behind the crib. I could hear their voices.

"Haha nawww, Don and them will be back soon enough. Too bad they missed out on Kate." A man yelled quite obnoxiously.
"Shut your trap, would ya?" A woman yelled.

I slowly stood up and grabbed AJ. I ran back to Clem quietly.
"Oh my god, AJ! It's so good to see you." She said happily.
"We need to get the car, go back to camp, gather the supplies, and leave to somewhere else. They probably know our camp now." I suggest.

"Good idea. Let's leave." Clem replied.

Just then, we heard a man scream, "Yo! The kids gone!!"

And we ran.
