Maxine
One year later
I took the familiar trail going to the town's cemetery. Its been a year since the death of my little brother and his baby. The brother I never had, Kieth. We didn't spent years together but the few weeks we spent were enough to make me love him as a brother. I wasn't able to come and visit him during his birthday because there was a conference I attended outside the country. I made my schedule clear this week so I can visit him. It was a long drive from my place but it was worth it.
I parked my car then opened the passenger side. I took the bouquet of flowers and a picnic basket and made my way to his tombstone. I am only a few meters away when I saw a man kneeling on his tombstone. The man's shoulders were shaking, as if he's crying. I made my way to him and poked him. He whipped his head and I took a few steps away from him. He had a messy hair, his clothes were wrinkled, his skin is very pale then I looked at his eyes, dull green eyes which held no life. I took on his appearance and gasped when I realized who this man is.
"Storm Michaelis?"
