Isabella aimed her camera towards the Tarbabes center, capturing multiple pictures of him perfecting his jumpshot. She wasn't really trying to take these pictures for the school website since she was still testing out her new camera, but she thought why not try at the first game tonight. As she placed the camera to her eye, a ball flew and hit the side of her camera. The camera ripped through her hands and swung around her neck, luckily she had the strap on.

She turned towards the direction of the ball and there stood Compton High School's shooting guard, DeMar DeRozan. His eyes were wide as he saw everything unfold. He quickly put up his hands in surrender as she stared at him.

"Why did you do that? This is a new camera," Isabella said. She tried to remain as calm as she could but she was fuming inside. After working double shift everyday to finally afford the camera of her dreams, it gets bulldozed by a basketball. Not that she thought it was broken, the camera was still her most prized-possession.

"I'm sorry," he stammered. "My basketball rebounded right toward it, I'm so sorry."

Isabella let out a breath that she needed to, "Okay. Move along before I rip you to shreds."

DeMar chuckled and retrieved his basketball before running off to the court. He turned around and said, "Maybe you shouldn't be under the basketball hoop, that's where the basketball goes. It could hit you and the camera any time."

She knew this, but she also knew this was the best way to capture magnificent pictures. She had never gotten hit by a basketball while she was doing what she loves but now she can mark that off.
